Have to wonder what her first marriage was like?
I shudder to think!
JMVHO.
Have to wonder what her first marriage was like?
Thanks, I’m think it started early on before her teen years, I imagine her being someone that constantly tells untrue stories, a know it all type… been there done that. The mean girl at school possibly.Good to see you here. When do you think it started?
Yes. There's a hearsay exception for statements by a party-opponent. So LS's statements are admissible, but they'd need to find a separate exception for HH's since she's not a defendant.I get that--in theory--but I didn't understand why it was okay for the officer to testify about what LS said but not what HH said.
Does it make a difference if the person is the defendant?
So I do agree with almost all you said. I do think Al knew she was manipulative and a liar and I just think the children were afraid. After all, he demanded Laina apologize to LS for blaming her for mistreating Gannon. But he has had to live with his sons death. He never expected her to be a murderer. Very sad for him. The day won‘t come when I feel sorry for the fact that he did not want to spend time with her, not after Alaska!I don't feel anything for Letecia either not sure what you mean there.
This wasn't just about the kids though.....but yeah for sure my kids would be allowed up late to hang with their dad that they hardly seen.
His wife is his family too.
And you better believe it, my husband would sacrifice 4 hours sleep (drive time) to spend 6 hours ( 2 if thats all allowed even) in bed with me then on a concrete floor.
She knew it too....That he was done with her.
But Al never thought the kids where at risk with her.
That part surprises me....because he verbalises a few times that her lying and scheming was never ending. He also has stated that she reckoned Gannon came at her with a knife. Which I think tells us she was in fact involving the kids and he should have seen them as endangered. :-(
But as I said in previous post no doubt Al beats himself up on reflection constantly.
She didn’t return by herself. Gannon did come back with her according to LE. We just never see him in video coming back.

Why do you guys think she’s hiding behind her hair, sitting away from her attorneys, etc? I don’t think it furthers her insanity claim. We know she doesn’t feel shame or remorse. She certainly seemed to like the attention at the beginning of the investigation. It seems like a lot of these murderers (Tammy Moorer and Alex Murdaugh come to mind) are more present during their trials. The “hiding” behavior seems inconsistent with the attention seeking behavior.
This explanation is logical in my opinion.I actually disagree with LE's theory.
Letecia attempted to buy fake polygraph results, and one of the questions she chose was "did your stepson return with you to your home?" with the answer YES.
So she obviously believed it was incriminating that Gannon did not return with her in the car that afternoon.
I think that the blood in his room was from a severe but non-fatal assault, and she took him elsewhere to kill him. That's why in the CCTV he weakly shuffled to the car in the morning, but didn't return with her in the afternoon. That would also explain the three different murder methods: maybe she originally tried and failed to kill him (we know he tried to defend himself) in the bedroom by beating/stabbing, and when that didn't work, took him elsewhere to shoot him to avoid neighbours hearing a gunshot.
I actually disagree with LE's theory.

She needed everyone to believe her that G returned to the house with her because of her lie about him going to a friends house around 3:15 to 4:00. And by everyone, I mean people on Social Media and Al.I actually disagree with LE's theory.

That's what I believe. I thought at the time the first affidavit was written LE said they couldn't actually say 100% (after seeing neighbor's video) whether Gannon came back with her and got out of truck....I thought she shot him out on Perry Park Road. In my opinion she is the most evil I have ever seen....It confounds my brain.I actually disagree with LE's theory.

Judge, after going over all the "case law", or precedent about defendant's demeanor during a trial, the Judge is deciding to not answer the Juror's question about Letecia mouthing things, nodding, or whatever during her own trial.
Trial continues on Monday, 4/10/23.
Maybe. But judges have to be very careful in how they treat defendants. So far as I know, she's not engaged in audible outbursts, she's not tried to engage inappropriately with her attorneys during testimony, she's not making noticeable non-verbal noises, she's remained seated when she's supposed to, and she's stood when she's supposed to. I'm not sure he'd be on solid grounds to "reprimand" her for making facial expressions, for covering her ears, for hiding her face with her hair, or for silently mouthing words. With all due respect, I wish Judge Werner would reprimand her for attempting to disrupt his courtroom. So disrespectful, imo.
I read somewhere (maybe on audio between AS and LS) that one of their dogs went into heat (not spayed or whatever) and there was supposedly (according to LS) blood from the female dog in the house...Also, to leave her phone (or Gannon’s) at Petco, so she couldn't be tracked on the phone. What was she doing at Petco that day? Timeline I saw said she went to the same Petco at 11:22 & 1:22 …. two trips like that really suggests something (idk what)…. but then I thought maybe that was a mistake & she actually made one trip that was noted twice, once incorrectly ? In any case I wonder why she went there
this case is so odd …. what was she doing driving all around with him like that?? When did she come up with her horrible evil plan for the poor helpless little guy? She called him out of school in the morning, so either he really was sick or she was already scheming …. but why drive all around with him & then bring him home to create an in-home CS?
what a bizarrely evil & beastly woman!!
