Did y’all see this hand gesture she made at 18:04 ?
This was Friday.

Only T could make that universal sign of affection look universally obscene.

I was surprised Judge annouced his decision (outside Jury presence) not to respond to Juror's note about LS' inappropriate facial expressions during the trial. Juror must be wondering why judge ignored the note. I wonder if Judge admonished LS and her attorneys about hand gestures and facial expressions?

I haven't seen Crazy, not Insane, so I should probably take a peek. There is a lot of criticism out there on it, though. Best one is below. I've already posted it in a prior thread.

Yeah, that article pretty much hits all the notes of why I didn't agree with a lot of her ideas and conclusions, but I respected her dedication to her chosen area. One thing I think she got right - and I'm paraphrasing here - is that a lot of what gets churned over with crime and criminals, particularly those who kill in a very depraved way, is that the obsessive focus by the majority of people is on WHAT they did and not WHY. Her career, and one would argue the careers of folks who have ended up with the BSU/BAU, and those who have tried to study sociopathy in both criminals and in noncriminals (politicians, board members, surgeons, etc.) are all about spending their lives chasing the WHY. And I really do find that interesting. I don't have to agree with someone to find that work interesting. That's why I'm going to ensure - whatever time it is here in Australia - that I get to see her on the stand. I will no doubt spend the whole time disagreeing with her conclusions, but I am very curious about how she will go about crafting a testimony that benefits the defense. I suspect the handwriting from the letters LS sent the judge are going to factor in a big way, as I thought they would when they were first made public. I saw that handwriting and knew which way this was going to go, long before DID was mentioned in court, and I was right.

It happened so fast I'm surprised someone noticed. I wonder what that hand gesture means to her? It has numerous different meanings, depending on who you ask.
I was wondering if anyone she knew was in the courtroom, but so far there have been no supporters, correct? Maybe it was meant for HH, even if she was not there physically.

My immediate thought- the hand gesture from the movie The Hunger Games. imo
I've never seen it so I don't know what it means in that movie.

If you're LS it means "I have no idea what this really means but I want the jury members to think I'm insane so I'mma flash this stupid hand gesture". Or, something like that.

I was also surprised at the decision to ignore the question. Imo, the discussion they had Friday afternoon re: pros and cons of factoring in her courtroom demeanor was interesting. I sort of wish the jury could have heard it, instead of just being left with no answer on the matter. I guess the judge isn’t comfortable setting a precedent with an answer one way or another.Just a guess & with much respect for the Court.

Edited to change Thursday to Friday.

What was she doing at Petco that day? Timeline I saw said she went to the same Petco at 11:22 & 1:22 …. two trips like that really suggests something (idk what)…. but then I thought maybe that was a mistake & she actually made one trip that was noted twice, once incorrectly ? In any case I wonder why she went there

this case is so odd …. what was she doing driving all around with him like that?? When did she come up with her horrible evil plan for the poor helpless little guy? She called him out of school in the morning, so either he really was sick or she was already scheming …. but why drive all around with him & then bring him home to create an in-home CS?

what a bizarrely evil & beastly woman!!

I still think T's plan was evolving/devolving. I shudder to think about the diatribe poor Gannon endured, leading up to his murder but especially during those 3 hours or so. Lotta pinky swearing. I'm freaking out. I know YOU didn't do this on purpose so we're not going to tell Al about the carpet and we're not going to talk about the burns because you don't want the police or the judge be mad at you because because...

When she called/texted out of work for the day, I think that was CYA and panic, to buy time. I don't think she had an end game yet.

I have no idea how Petco fits into her thought process. I have an injured child with bowel issues, vomiting due to a possible severe head injury/concussion but I suddenly just remember I had two dogs who need three sweaters?

I actually think her thought process was to do something relatively normal if you have (correcting Freudian typo 'hate) a kid home from school who is, say, faking being sicker than he is. Run errands.

She wanted someone (Al) to believe she shopped for three hours at Petco. As one does.

I think she contemplated -- and stopped the vehicle for the purpose of -- leaving Gannon roadside.... then say he had run away.

It was all still so salvageable at that point. Not her marriage -- but that was already toast but IMO Gannon had treatable injuries. She could have gotten him to an ER. Likely she could have -- evil -- convinced him to lie about how it occurred (again so Al/LE don't be mad)...

It was roadside that I think she had Gannon exit the vehicle -- IMO over bathrooming or vomiting -- and then, because she is a callous and horrible excuse of a human being -- made him ride in the truck bed going back to the house.

I am so ready to forget her.

Side note- I love how LS thinks she is smarter than everyone else. Apparently even told AS that and that was why one of her jobs was intolerable. And then she says these things that make it obvious that she is so NOT smart. Like when she said she didn't know dogs could get periods... And her vernacular, saying that Gannon was bleeding out his "🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬". Wtf?

According to Wikipedia, that's the Sign of the Horns.

Why she flashed it is anyone's guess, but it indicates to me that she's still trying to manipulate someone or send a covert message.

If the middle one isn’t a finger and something in the background it could be her asking someone to call her or saying she will call them ?

Edit : Civilians have no facilities for ingoing calls under any circumstance.

There's a channel on YT called Recovery Addict that has the highest quality video I've seen for this trial. He's a technology geek and his is much clearer than anyone else's feed.

I'd say let defendant and defense attorney(s) bad behavior continue as the jury will take notice. imo.

Defendant #LeteciaStauch seems to have a smile while chatting with defense attorney during the break.

Unfortunately, the jury don't see this bit. She sits there staring at the wall or with her hair over her face like a zombie when the jury are in the courtroom. She knows exactly what she is doing

I've got both RA and L&C on. Thanks for heads up on RA.

Sometimes my YT is squirrely and chooses a lower res. If the video does not auto-select at 1080p HD, click the gear icon and select it.

L&C's video (and audio, often) quality is pretty bad, so I'll give this one a shot. Thanks!
