A lot of things added up with Mark, which is why it was so frustrating to learn that DNA ruled him out as Flat Tops John Doe:
Its not a problem , I am still waiting on the Perth company out of Australia to see if they can give us any help with any businesses in Colorado that sell their product or if it is all online .

Im currently stuck on the 2 cups and two games . Both are two person games. and the 9M timberland boots. I'm 5'8 and I wear a size 10 1/2 Boot. so I was thinking the guy would possibly be no more then 5'9-5'10. I have a 17 year old son that is 6ft and wears a size 12-13 depending on Boots and he's not a big kid either

And the person we are trying to Identify knew to tape around either the toes of his socks or his toes . I haven't figured out that much. If you find something more and end up calling the Colorado Coroner about the socks. I asked a couple people that stated that hikers wrap the ends of their socks around the toes to reduce friction of their socks preventing blisters from forming . So I think we are looking for someone that is an experienced hiker and knew what he was doing.

Anyone one have any reports from the National Weather service about the weather in that area last maybe last 3 years. plus depending on his clothing.

The reason why its so frustrating is cause Mark checked off pretty much all the boxes that we normally find other than the DNA. Don't give up and get discouraged. Go back through your notes. My email to the Perth company didn't pan out. they didn't even email me back or anything so now I just have to go to a different direction and see what else I can dig up.

I suspect the battleship game he has was exclusively a 1 person game. You'd play against a .computer

I've always felt like the Radio Shack game he had was more of an early to mid 90s thing. Also his denim jeans were almost totally disappeared. Even with some animal activity it doesn't seem like that would happen in only a few years....

The third page looks to end with "Regards" and then the name starts with. "T". Everything below that is just bleed through from the first page

So I have a theory and hear me out. What if it wasn't a suicide note in the note book but a last Will and Testiment. In 2002 there was wild fire that was in the area of the Flat Tops. What if our victim was writing because he was trapped up on the Flat Tops and had no way of getting off the mountain? Just something that popped in my head last night after reading things about how Colorado is prone to wild fires.

In compost conditions perhaps but we all have jeans more than one year old. I've stumbled across jeans at dump sites in the woods that look to be from the 1970s.

Its generally accepted that it wasn't a suicide note. " If I don't get saved" in his letter.
