What's good for the goose is good for the gander I expect. But why stop there, why not get rid of all crimes on personal property.. Just think of all the LE man hours freed up for whatever else is left.[]

Sounds to me as if LE/the FBI should be gathering intelligence on these men. Not only is it likely that a proportion of them will go on to commit rape, but the angry, embittered, entitled-but-thwarted male is precisely the demographic that goes on to commit spree shootings.

Elliot Rodgers was one of them, on forums just like ROK. If you heard his videos he went on long tirades about how he 'deserved' beautiful women, much more so than their boyfriends, and how alpha [manly man] he was, etc. etc.

So you're totally right. They are the kind of mindset that can more easily warp into this level of behaviour, compared to average populations. He threw a long, murderous, temper tantrum because he didn't get what he wanted. That was all it was. innocent people were killed because an entitled baby didn't get enough female attention.

It never fails to amaze me how women are so ready to verbally devour other women for just living a lifestyle they have found to their liking. I thought feminism was to free women to live the life they want, career-wise, marital status, income, whatever wise. Now it is just another set of rigid expectations with which a female dare not disagree. Rant over.

Well just any mutual consent really. These guys were advocating for non consensual sex inside any homes.

I'm not sure they actually think this is a possibility. More likely they think by making all these statements they are going to continue the narrative that rape victims are to blame, which leads to more victims keeping it a secret and not reporting due to fear of ridicule or shame.

Having an opinion has zero to do with feminism. It's a common fallacy that just because this is a free country, that means that people are free from having their viewpoints subject to scrutiny. This is not correct. I can disagree with whatever I want all day long. If others are comfortable with their own views, they can feel free to ignore me or try to change my mind. I doubt Michelle Duggar loses sleep at night worrying what others think.

No, the Duggars are not feminist as you see it. But Isn't Michelle capable of making her own decisions? If she ever wanted to be divorced, is she legally barred? No. Or do you just assume she is stupid without question, because her choices are not yours? I respect other women more than that. Her choice is not mine either. But I don't speak about other women with the venom you use, unless I strongly believe they are criminals. Otherwise, live and let live.
But the original feminism pushed by Gloria Steinem (sp?), I thought, was that women are free to choose whatever lifestyle, job, family, etc. they wanted. Now that women are making all kinds of different choices, they are condemned by the same women who wanted that freedom. But now the the line is, work as many hours as possible, ignore children and spouse unless you need pics for Facebook, to show how motherly you are. I am a mother of four with one kid receiving chemo 4 hours away weekly, and I have to constantly make excuses about why I do not have a job to other women. I do this to keep the peace as I have far more to worry about than how the lady next to me lives her life. It is shocking to me!

We don't agree much, but I place the blame on his actions completely on him, where they belong. If he robbed a bank at gunpoint, that, also is on him. How they chose to help their daughters through this is private and changes about every five years and with each new therapist you talk to.

Umm, exactly when have they chosen to help their daughters through it and get therapy??? Only now that it was made public? Surely someone would know or have said if they actually got help for them, which it looks like they never did, only deal with Josh's scandal, and yes he is the one to blame, NEVER the girls!!!
