Does anyone see the irony in this? MSM today is all over the Chattanooga attacks. On verdict day, another act of local terrorism is stealing JH's thunder.

and I bet they didn't dye their hair (or "paint" as some witness said)---That is a good point! He did want to be up front and center! I'm very happy with the movement of never saying his name! Channel 7 refers to him either "gunman" or "shooter"--I'm trying to follow suit!

I wouldn't count on CNN or HLN, they've pretty much ignored this trial. Just mho

3PM = PT (pacific time)
4PM = MT (mountain time)
5PM = CST (central time)
6PM = EST (eastern time)

Well...There has been many tweets saying it could take the Judge ( or whomever reads verdicts in that State) over an hour maybe hour and half to read out ALL the counts? Only thing that would shorten it would be NGRI..Doubt that..but as some has said..after Anthony and OJ case..who knows??:facepalm:

No doubt DT will start whining again about their witnesses being out of the country for penalty phase.
That really cracked me up. Defense witnesses for potential penalty phase all knew they needed to be available during the months of July and August to testify. Yet how many of them choose to book "prepaid trips out of the country"? (So very telling)

IF it Guilty..There is another phase these juror..including the alternates to go thru yet..to decide LWOP or DP..that could take a few weeks to a month to finish up..

Of course the Defence is trying to stall..saying some of their mitigating witnesses may not be available..blah blah..Judge shut them down PDQ!! Saying LATER!!! :loveyou:

As Prosecutor Brauchler stressed in his closing, the shooter wanted to be REMEMBERED.

I know I have read bios on the victims before, but just read them again in the link zoey posted(thanks!) and it's all just so so so sad. But, I am just amazed at how many of the men died shielding friends/loved ones. To even think that fast and to be so selfless, it's amazing. The fact that for one shooter there were many more real men, who died trying to save someone shows that there is more good in this world than evil. It's just sad that more people recognize the evil ones name over the victims.

Please oh please just let him be found sane. lease:lease:lease:lease:

The forms are pretty quik to fill out..check mark beside verdict and signature...probably took them a while to sort out those forms yesterday...White board likely helped them organize it all...I'm surprised Foreperson didn't require hand massages:drumroll:

I think the press should start referring to the people who commit crimes by saying the "(alleged) killer of _____,_____ and ______." I don't care how long it would have to be, the victims are the ones who deserve a name in this, not the people who killed them.
