APD Officer Thomas Campagna was inside the jail, booking an inmate when he first heard the call at 12:39 a.m. He couldn't leave until the booking was complete.

OK wait.

Are they saying they actually tore down the movie screen? Like the white thing it is played on? Confused?

ETA - Yup! That's exactly what they did! Seems crazy, but his explanation of the void that there could be someone back there makes perfect sense. Good thing teenagers work at movie theaters before becoming adults! Crazy for this police officer to have the frame of mind to think about that in the heat of all of the chaos!

  • #978
behind a movie screen is a void almost as wide as the jury box....

concerned they might have someone behind there.......

  • #979
pulled down the screen......no one back there.........

stood guard inside the theater.....also sat in first row of the theater....

deceased were in the theater.......in the stadium seating area....

showing on theater model where they were located........

Oh! I thought when they were taking about taking the screen down they meant turning it off. They actually broke the screens to pull down the entire screen as there is a 10 ft void behind the screen and they wanted to ensure that no one was hiding there.
