Psychiatrist Dr. Fenton met with Holmes for about an hour, recognized and suspected psychotic-level thinking right away, per defense.

I had to stop watching....and maybe I'm having a "blonde" moment...are you being sarcastic or did this happen? I'm so confused!

Just to confirm in case Queen Bee is not here or if anyone else is wondering, QueenBee reported accurately. This is what Ms Spengler reported him doing.

Describing him as "vulnerable" is sickening to me.....

  • #365
Holmes told psychiatrist Dr. Fenton he was having homicidal thoughts 3-4 times a day, defense says.

  • #366
His credit card interactions show his spending quadrupled between May 2011 and July

How long does this defense female get to chat with the jury?

  • #368
Holmes signed up for Match.com on April 20th and escalated signing up for similar accounts very frequently immediately after that.

  • #369
she's now discussing unusual patterns for him.....after starting on the zoloft starts spending money.....triples his spending as he triples his prescription amount......flirting texts are unusual.....etc.....psychotic level thinking is increasing...... invinsibility in the notebook is reflected....increased obsessive thoughts....

Dr. Fenton asked "What is the evil you want to do?" and Holmes said "Kill people of course, that's why I live in the future," defense attorney says.

dogface

that was seriously what was said, i swear......

no one at all was tweeting so i just started taking down exactly what was being said on the stream....so that those with no stream could follow

and that was it..........:floorlaugh:

I heard it too and was flabbergasted. LOL

The only thing I would add is that it was the Attorney's words claiming this happened and we havent seen any evidence yet that Holmes actually did that.

IMO. He was probably acting up and doing things on purpose to freak out the guards.

The whole interview with LE I felt he was being sarcastic to them on purpose and doing a lot of pretending to be more physchotic than he really was.

These are all my early opinions and I need more time to see all the evidence to see how much of his acting is real versus pretending. Right now, I think he was doing a lot of pretending to be more of a nutcase than he really is.

Right now.....JMO
I think this may be a classic case of someone just being mad at society and mad his life was a failure and he decided that instead of committing suicide, he was just going to kill a bunch of people and do a Colubine style massacre.

I dont think he planned much more than the movie theatre and once he didnt get killed by LE, he was stuck with what to do now? So I think he began to be mean to LE and his way of being mean was to just give answers that made no sense. Then when he realized it was working, he just went with it.

i would think she is losing them by now......she's losing me

She says Holmes "is going from purchasing suchi and text books...to tear gas and guns and knives...and this is all happening....as his metal state is declining... the schizophrenia is controling his thoughts...dominating his mind">

To buy all his supplies he had with him, it would cost a lot of money so I suspect a lot of his spending was on his supplies for the shooting once he got that plan.

I think "that guy" missed his calling with the whole neuroscience/mass murdering, if he can do back flips while balancing a cup on his penis he should have been in cirque d soleil(sp?)...I mean that has to be the most ridiculous thing I think I have ever heard in a court. I wish I could have seen the jurors faces when that was said. That was a major WTF.

Thank you for relaying that to us, although I am shuddering as I try to visualize this. I am still confused as to how exactly one does that.

I agree. To me, he acted like a punk in the interview with LE.

I am finally setup to watch it and seeing it on live link. I am actually offended by this woman who is talking now.

She is talking really quietly and softly like we are supposed to feel sorry for him.

Gimee a break. The only people I feel sorry for are the victims.

Lock this punk up for life or death sentence is fine for me.
BBM- Hi Hatfield, nice to see you.
And I once again agree with you about this lady def atty. Besides the 'feel sorry voice', she's hesitating & sputtering, she's trying but it sounds( to me) too hard to believe her. She's hooking things together that doesn't make sense & her presentation makes it unbelievable.

thank the lord above, she just got the time warning.........

Dr. Fenton's notes show clear decline in Holmes' mental state from March to June, per defense attorney.

Defense plays recording of interview with Holmes - "Where does such a strong force come from?" Dr. Reed asks. "I don't know. It just took hold of my mind," Holmes answers.

It is a battle for him. He writes about it in his notebook," defense attorney says.
