Thanks for the updates and tweets. I have been reading/lurking as I have a hard time with this case, especially after the Arias trial. I am so conflicted on this one. I had no problem despising Arias, but I have a problem here despising JH. I despise what he did and I pray he will continue to get the meds he desperately needs. I realize this is not a popular opinion, but for a person this twisted, I think he is very very ill. IMO

I can respect your opinion. When I first heard JH being interviewed I, like others, had a sense of empathy. But over time I came to realize he had a choice to do the right thing even right up to the minute before the massacre. He chose the
selfish path.

I think most of us agree that JH is mentally ill. The question is was he legally insane at the time he carried out the shooting. I don't believe he was.

I knew they would hide it. I think we should be able to view it if we choose.

I wonder what is going through JH's mind as he watches this video. If my mind had just snapped and I had done such a terrible thing I would be in floods of tears watching this. I would be begging forgiveness from everyone that I hurt.

I agree. He's not going to beg forgiveness for something he feels justified in doing because of his stupid delusions.

Well according to he value system and human capitol murderers have the most value.

So even though he is medicated he can still have these terrible delusions? I can see why he doesn't seem affected then.

I totally understand just where you are coming from. The problem for JH is that he isn't deemed Insane "Legally" according toColorado law.

But what as you lauded to is the fact he is indeed very mentally ill...Is to question the line when caregiver's MUST report any innuendo's by a patient towards homicidal thinking. Hippa often makes HC providers to think twice about reporting..BUT just maybe..ANY..I mean ANY admission to such should clear HC Provider's!!! They are NOT making it public..however..immediate 72 hour assessment (custodial) immediately..next some sort of "Stop Order" flag in any background check ..not necessarily forever..just as a safeguard...

It's so easy to demonize Mentally Ill Folk..But truly often they need protection from themselves..more than them towards others.. But that's what that 72 hour assessment does...close observation..etc...Shouldn't go further on that I guess.

But that purchase of close to $2 G's for just AMMO should have cause some sort of Red Flag...JH is an individual..not associated with LE or Group nor firing range...I SMH even processing such an order without checking or at least bring it to someone's attention..which IF Psych. had reported concerns..would have slowed this Mission escalation!!

As a Canadian..I'm not fond of DP..LWOP is fine with me as long as he get Mental Health/medication monitoring..But first and foremost....OUT of media eye!! Let victims ( thousands) move on and try and heal!!

Yes, medications don't get rid of delusions, voices etc it just makes them more stable.

I think it's out of respect to the family members of the victims. I know I wouldn't want pictures of my dead daughter slumped in a pile under a theater seat on the Internet.

Canadian's are rather closed Judical wise..No info gets out..During trials ( no live streaming) and only info after testimony's after that..That has only been noted in the last decade BTW~~ We often don't find out ANY information until AFTER the trial...

We have a completely different way of dealing with things like this.. Protection of witnesses and Accused far outweighs the NEED TO Know Up here!!

This guy tho found guilty of such a heinous crime get Lifewop for 25 years...which means after 25 years..Re-visiting his crime will commence after that..Always bugged me..But most don't get out..and doubt Luka will either come 2039!!
