Some of this latest testimony got me so angry at Holmes, as he sat there in his nice new blue shirt he wore for Gargi's visit. Hearing about that poor sailor's murder was so sad and I was so mad! I'm starting to loathe him in away I did not think possible.

I did wonder if he dressed up for Gargi's testimony. He looked smarter than usual.

Hahaha I thought he got that new shirt to look nice for Gargi too. It was a sad day.

I bet she is much more careful now who she dates. Poor thing she may be afraid to date after that.

When I first found out that JH told Gargi about his urge to kill I was shocked that she didn't report him. Listening to her testimony it seems that she really didn't have a clue that he would actually act on it.

I'm curious to know what he said to Lynne Fenton. She had a duty to report him yet she didn't. As far as she was concerned he wasn't her responsibility once he left the course. I want to know what he told her in their sessions.

I'm curious too. I think they (psychiatrists) may be trained to ask questions about their (the patients) specific plans when someone mentions having homicidal thoughts. If JH made it seem like he hadn't gotten that far yet (and if his notebook is any indication, he didn't... because he didn't want his plan to be "foiled"), she probably truly didn't think he would act on those thoughts. That's the only thing I can think of that would keep her from losing her medical license. I'm interested to hear from her though.

In a videotaped interview with Dr. William Reid, the gunman said they dated for about six months, and he told her some of his disturbing thoughts
In at least one message the gunman left for the ex-girlfriend, sources say he told Datta he wanted to kill people. Datta reportedly asked if he wanted to kill her and he replied that would be "too personal."
She was one of the last people to leave a voicemail for the gunman, according to records. It was left on July 20, 2012 -- the same day as the mass shooting.
Gargi Datta was in the Biological Basis of Psychiatric and Neurological Disorders class with the gunman in the spring of 2012

Welcome to Day 30 of the Aurora theater shooting trial. Today, prosecutors will continue questioning the gunman's ex-girlfriend, Gargi Datta, about what he said and did prior to the shooting.

Judge Carlos Samour Jr. has given the prosecution until June 23 to complete its presentation, though prosecutors have suggested they could finish as early as Friday.

But they also still have ground to cover, most notably in Holmes' interaction with mental health professionals prior to the shooting.

Holmes saw three therapists — two psychiatrists and a social worker — at the University of Colorado's Anschutz Medical Campus in the spring of 2012. He told each that he had thoughts of killing people, according to testimony by two psychiatrists who evaluated Holmes after the shooting
