I'm so glad the judge is allowing a lot of Ashley's Testimony to be heard. I think it's incredibly important for her to tell her story here in court.

Sending Prayers out to ALL of the victims/survivors of this terrible crime.

They're replaying the judge's order that the jail video is admitted. I find it interesting how he says that the defense wants to rely on it to prove psychotic/insane. BUT, judge infers that the video shows it shows the opposite, he is acting in a mental capacity that shows he knows between right & wrong. He says the jury might not infer that but it is probative.

Here's a quick question. What would happen if a defendant refused to come to court for their trial. Would the trial go ahead without them present?

Email exhibits it seems..could be the one's from the Colorado University in-house email system presented yesterday thru their witness from CU's keeper of records or some such?????

I suppose there are many reasons why a defendant wouldn't want to be in court. Fear, or maybe aggressive and can't be trusted or simply misbehaving! It's good to know justice would still be served - with or without their presence.
