I am very impressed with how both boys turned out. They've had their stumbles but all and all they appear decent. If we all had press following us 24/7 --they'd uncover plenty. God Bless them
IIRC, Mr. B asked Dr. Reid to explain his fees, etc., in open court & he did. I think it's fairly customary since I have seen it in other trials in other jurisdictions. Maybe we will find out...

JH seems to be doing a good job of not moving trying to play the role the doctor describes. Too bad she does not see him laugh and chat with his team.

Judge Samour is not going to allow information about the gunman's mother having gestational diabetes, being lodged in the birth canal and being delivered by C-sectionan hour ago anica.padilla
Thank you!! I LOVE ice cream! Probably a bit too much lol!
I will be listening closely to see if they tell us how much she is being paid. I hope it's not by the hour. We could be here some time!!

Gur notes that the MRI can detect shrinkage in the brain that the human eye can't detect. #theatershooting

Dr. Gur says the gunman's brain measures were compared to 79 'healthy' individuals. There were "several significant differences."
1. The right frontal orbital part of the brain (important for emotional processing) was 3 standard deviation below healthy people.
2. The amygdala (important hub for emotion processing) was 2 standard deviations below average.
3. The right medial frontal lobe is 2 standard deviations below average. anica.padilla
Well, I looked up "amygdala schizophrenia" and it said essentially what she was just stating.
(I had brain surgery several years ago -- brain aneurysm which hemorrhaged -- was fixed but there was another one on the other side (not uncommon) -- I was very fortunate to come out with essentially zero complications -- Anyway, in anticipation of the second surgery (this time no hemorrhage), I did a lot of reading, etc., and talking with my amazing and life-saving brain surgeon -- so I know a bit about brain structure, etc., etc.
It's just like outer space in that we have just begun to really find out a little about that amazing organ --- just scratching the surface.
Pardon the O/T
