The jurors can talk AFTER it is over IF they want. JH really has not rights, he is a murderer....no rights at all....

Totally off topic, but anyone who followed the JA trial might be interested in this article from Jen's Trial Diaries. She interviewed the foreman of the jury. I enjoyed seeing things from the jury's point of view. It also talks about that one 'difficult' juror.

Yeah..that's likely the one who had a grudge again Juan Martinez..She was the only one who wouldn't agree to DP..all other's (11) voted for DP...

Using my imagination..I can just picture that juror's demeanour in that room..likely refused to agree with others..avoided eye contact and would walk out if felt too pressured....IMO the only reason Jodie didn't get DP is because one person was not vetted properly..and likely didn't give a care either way..SHE only wanted to hurt Martinez..Why?? Because Juan put her hubby in jail!! Sick..and wish she could be held accountable..But who knows??

Yes she was very difficult by all accounts. The jury were very frustrated with her. I don't blame them. This was about the death of a young man! He deserved justice, not some woman with a grudge making things impossible!

I don't think juror's know that they can actually complain to the Judge when a deliberating juror refuses to deliberate..That happened in Phil Spectre Trial..re-trial deliberations actually had a juror booted because of that ( If I'm remembering correctly) ..I'm sure there are other cases when that happened..I'm just trusted those juror's had to endure a juror who refused to deliberate...hindsight of why is obvious..BUT is too late now!! Gees!!

In that article I posted the foreman said they wrote to the judge saying this woman wouldn't deliberate with the rest of the jury and would she consider replacing the juror with an alternate. I can only imagine how frustrating that must have been.
