OK...I found it!!

Conspiracy theorists (and possibly those not labeled that but confused) said the second gas mask that was found far away from the car thought this meant there was a second shooter!

I knew I remembered something about that second gas mask! Makes sense now of course...

Another puzzling piece of evidence if Holmes was the only shooter is the second gas mask found at the far end of the parking lot, hundreds of feet from Theater 9's emergency exit and Holmes' car. (Holmes was found wearing a different gas mask.)

I'm new to posting so hello everyone :seeya:

I wish the defence lawyers would use their microphones when they object. I can't hear what they are saying.

That particular statement stood out to me because it speaks volumes. It clearly shows how much importance he placed on every single detail and how much he wanted the correct information notated. It's not because he wanted to help them; he wanted the credit and recognition for it. He wanted to showcase his intelligence.

It reads almost like a scoff. It's almost like he's saying "as IF I would mix those ingredients together in a silver bowl and risk ruining the final product... it was stainless steel."

Other statements that convey his hauteur, if you will... as well as his desire to undermine the officer:

"Magnesium just doesn't ignite with pressure... WELL, AND YOU SHOULD KNOW THIS."

When he was asked if the transmitter was outside or missing... He said "UH, YOU TELL ME."

When he was asked what else was in the there that could hurt someone and he replied "Uh, well, I'm not in there anymore." <<< I perceived to be a smart-a answer. I don't know what's in there because I'm not there anymore.

And the line... "no that was just to scare you guys" clearly proves he felt this was just a game.

Oh my goodness...when you spell out his comments, my first thought was that he's talking in riddles. Then I thought......hmmmm.... wonder if he was mimicking The Riddler.

1995 Movie Batman Forever.........notice the red hair

I've got a question that maybe someone can answer or share their thoughts/opinions about it. And, it may have been addressed in court already but I missed it or it may be that no one really knows the answer... but I haven't been unable to determine what caused JH to stop shooting.

Based on the number of firearms and ammunition he brought to the theater, as well as the statements he made during interviews and in his notebook, it's a fairly accepted fact that he planned to kill as many people as possible. I know his gun jammed at one point but is that what stopped him? He had two other guns--the one in his passenger door and the one on top of his car. Did he exit the theater to retrieve another firearm after his gun jammed but realized the cops were already there when he got outside? It sounds like he was just standing at his car... kinda soaking up all of the chaos that he'd created... when he was arrested. When his gun jammed, maybe his initial plan was to grab another gun but got distracted when he got outside? Maybe he wanted to watch his handiwork play out, so to speak? Does anyone have any answers or thoughts on this?

Am I the only one who is confused as to how they call witnesses? I would think victims first than first responders -- jmo

Maybe they feel it might be a little overwhelming to have All the victims..one after the other tell their stories about what happened to them and their friends and loved ones. Its a lot to digest emotionally. I think they are mixing them in to give the jury a breather in between JMO
