This is soon compelling!!!! I believe this man still has nightmares about this...much like PTSD of veterans....While one can put out of a waking mind..once asleep..Horror's return...This guy is so brave!!!!

Scapula shattered. Drop foot syndrome. Cannot lift foot to walk, has to lift leg higher.

damage is permanent. Found out he had 2nd shot - lower back towards middle - source of nerve damage to leg. Lung puncture

I really like Mrs. Teesch-Maguire and her questioning of the victims. And fully realize that Mr. Brauchler can't do it all.

But he is sooooo good with the victims! Mrs. Teesch-Maguire uses almost a formulaic questioning style. Same question to each victim. It works. She is successful.

But Mr. Brauchler is just so dang personable! So comforting!!

I don't know if anyone has wondered what the rest of the courtroom looks like but here are some photos :)

When he described that foot drop thing due to lower back wound..Immediately brought back memories of same symptom after birthing first child...after epidural and suffered same..that last 6 months+ which I can say..resolved..It's an awful feeling and makes one appear like a clumsy idiot..constantly tripping and falling!!

Bravery Dion!! Bless you <hearts>

I see Ms Spengler isn't standing up like she was told to. Why does she think the rules don't apply to her?!

Total agree Maisiebelle! I too haven't seen anything (yet!) to which he did NOT plan this whole thing!

Now can these victims sue his parents? :waitasec: Also, since his parents were asked to leave the courtroom when they passed that note - have they been allowed back in??

TIA!!

and a BIG :gthanks: to all the people tweeting this trial!! Can't watch...

:seeya:

Thanks...that is sweet.

As far as your question, I honestly have no idea. I can't imagine that they could block them for the entire trial. Punishment doesn't fit the crime type thing. At least IMO. I think they have a right to be there, and he should have a right to have support. I do not however, know the actual rules.

Here is a report from May 5th, which is about a week after court started.

They sit behind him every day, not more than 20 feet from his silent form swiveling quietly at the defense table. He does not turn around.

ETA - as far as suing his parents. HHMMM. Good question! Don't know the answer, but I hope it is NO! He was fully a functioning adult and living on his own. They were not responsible for his actions.

My mother had a back surgery and she has the same issue. Poor man. My heart goes out to him.

She really pushes the envelope for sure!!! I am sure I am being overzealous, but I think she should be held in contempt!!!
