That's why yesterday when others felt sad for him--I couldn't muster up the energy to. I look at him and see victims--and wish the bullets he would have aimed at himself. The family I can find some empathy towards--him noooooo.

I don't think sadness for him is quite what we were saying. It's how something could go so wrong in someone's brain to do something of this magnitude who came across as seeming relatively normal not like other killers in prison.

Currently I have seen him talk with his atty once---and that was very very brief

What is the point of these medications? How can Holmes participate in his defense if he is doped up?

These are really common medications that people can function on. He can definitely participate.

It's too bad he wasn't on these prior to the shootings. He should have never been on the SSRI. He even mentioned in the notebook how it caused unwanted mania that took away his fear from people. That's what kept him at bay before. If you google SSRI stories. So many violent killers have been on these. Most recent was the pilot from flight 320. He had been seeing a psychiatrist for depression. JH should have only been on mood stabilizer and antipsychotics not SSRI

I'm sorry that you felt nauseated by the comments you read. I was one of the people making the comments. I don't feel sorry for JH. I was trying to say that IF he is severely mentally ill its sad because he isn't functioning normally. IF his illnesses contributed to what he did then its an awful thing. But if he was sane and knew right from wrong then its a totally different matter. Mental illness doesn't always equal insane.

We need to hear all the evidence before we can make a judgement.

So they've lowered the temperature in the courtroom for the juror who is unwell. I would be inclined to dismiss them as there is a risk they might pass this on to the rest of the jury.

thanks for stating that. I don't know much about SSRI's--DH recently got diagnosed with depression so I'm learning

Dad didn’t voice any concerns. JH says that her feelings were fair. They asked him to get a job. He saved his $$

Before the video plays on the wall in the courtroom, there is a little sign with what looks like a cartoon character with Orange hair? Am I seeing that right?

If so, I find that incredible. Its almost like a cartoon character of JH. I couldnt make out what it was so I may be wrong what the sign had on it. Something orange on top of round face I thought.
