Yea ....something he is hiding from the Doctor right around there. Either what you said or maybe he really had much more Anger than he is letting on.

I keep wondering if he was full of hatred and anger much more than he lets on.

Hatred for anything that doesnt go just right for him. Like the breakup, his public speaking skills, his issues....just wondering if he turned it into anger and he is never going to admit how really angry he was.

Just a guess.
