Yet ANOTHER situation where his symptoms or behavior don't match up with what he's claiming.

Mania ALWAYS takes away the need for sleep or makes the patient feel like it anyway.

What JH keeps describing about making impulsive purchases is actually more indicative of a HYPOmanic episode... which usually precedes mania.

I'm Going to post a link that gives a list of disorders that will help in trying to describe JH's behaviours. The defence claims acute psychotic disorder so therefor insanity. But after reading the whole list..I get that for some reason JH's is trying to cover all basis..by using certain terms..but unable to carryout explaining what he thought or felt or did to actually fit into what he self-diagnosed...kind of a hodge podge of everything???

Corundogs asked a good question this morning..so thought I would try and find out if someone experiencing psychosis due to schizophrenia could recall details of thought, action and reasoning post event or not?? It's still not spelled out in anything I could find..so listening to Dr. Reid ( who I trust implicitly ) can figure that out in JH's case.

Yes! And those are definite warning signals of malingering!

For some reason... I get the feeling he can't discuss any thoughts about whether JH was being honest in the interview or if there were times he thought JH was lying or being misleading. Like yesterday when the defense objected to Reid's statement about how JH believed withholding info was not the same as telling a lie. The judge sustained that objection.

And if that's the case... I would assume they can't ask Reid if he felt JH was faking it or exhibiting signs of malingering. But I have NO CLUE why they wouldn't be able to do that. It seems to me that would be an important question to ask of the expert psychiatrist. His job is to give his expert opinion about JH's sanity at the time of the attack. Makes no sense to me!

WOW only studied average 5 hours week!! Hummm and he expected to do well????? Oh wait..He has a photographic + audio memory /total recall...as one witness said..JH sitting there starring at desk..appeared not engaged..BUT when asked a question quite obviously he had listened...LOL
