They were his 1st dogs - had them a long time. They also had a 3rd dog, Rocky.
Talking about his grandmothers dying. He didn’t cry for either one. Doc points out he cried for dogs not grandmas

JH said when dogs/grandma’s died, the feeling of death was a dreamless sleep
JH doesn’t believe in the afterlife. As a kid, taught about heaven/hell. Didn’t think it was the way things worked
JH still believes in the dreamless sleep. Doesn’t think much about it
When officers drove up, they gave names. JH doesn’t remember their names
Officers came behind theater. Looking at theater 8 and had backs to him

He had gun right next to him. He didn’t shoot them. Put hands up as they approached him

JH - magazine jammed so my main weapon malfunctioned. I had 2 others on me and i would have had to reload & time
Only left handgun to use
Police are present when he exits theater

If police not there JH would have driven away. I don’t know where to - i didn’t have a plan

He didn’t know if he wanted to die or not. Left it up to spur of the moment

this is just so bizarre to me. He said no first hand knowledge of death then you get Grandmas (and pets--yes I count them as family members) Then when questioned about how close he give mileage..:gaah:

Did you notice how mad he got when the doc said JH quit when a cop entered the theater? He says he stopped before that on his own....but I know one cop saw him in the theater

Ohhhhh BAM..Dr. Reid just got JH to admit he was anticipating after the shooting he would either die or go to prison or die in prison...THAT my folks mean's he knew what he was going to do was wrong and figured out the consequences of his actions. By Colorado Law..this translates simply that he actually considered the consequences of his plan..so appreciated his actions were WRONG and Consequential! :drumroll:

JH - That’s why he went to CU to tell them about homicidal thoughts

Internal conflict - one part wanted to succeed and one didn’t. JH wanted to be normal
