Ohhhhh Me think's Dr. Woodcock has been discredited....Initially felt sane enough to go to trial....changed his report in 2015 to INSANE without any followups with defendant...Good on ya Reid/Broccoli whoops mean Brauchler

and when only 4 hours total interview time over 33 months twixt JH & Woodcock, 3 of those with Defence guy present, no video corroboration plus vaguest notes. One down!

Count me in as someone who is surprised this case doesn't have more followers. It seems to me that this may be one of the few mass shooting cases that has had live trial coverage via the internet (so many of those die by suicide so that is one reason for few trials of mass shooters). For that reason alone, I would think more people would follow it.

The fact that we get to see the entire psych interview is also a huge detail that I think many would find interesting.

I did a google search probably back in early February to see if there was a date set for trial to begin and I remember seeing something like "most likely will begin on ________" but after that, it totally slipped my mind to check again.
I'm in Canada and when the shooting happened it was very much like any other incident of this magnitude... it was all anyone talked about and saw on TV. But now and leading up to the trial? not one word anywhere. literally I have seen absolutely nothing!! which I find odd given the circumstances. I definitely thought it would be all anyone was talking about.
I find in so interesting actually hearing the whole trial and JH's words himself for the first time. I too am very surprised

Wow. That was great closing questions from Prosecution.

The answer was very firm from the witness. He said it loud and clear that JH was "SANE" at the time of the killings.

EVERYTHING about JH is odd. Doesn't mean he was insane when he planned and carried out his crime.

I know, I was quite surprised! There were only about 6 of us here from day 1 & thru May. When the video started we got up to about 12(members & non members). We were on the first thread for over a week, while in arias, we went thru many new pages in a half a day. Even Hernandez moved faster than this one. I don't know where everyone's at.

Apparently JH was trying to unscrew a handicapped rail in his cell so he would have "metal".

Dr Reid thinks it was down to boredom.

I just remembered another case Schizophrenic mentally ill person who lost insanity case last year. Luka Magnotta who murdered and chopped up his Asian friend, filmed it and was on YouTube. He had a long history of mental illness and still lost.

I have pretty much committed to this trial. I find it as interesting as Arias. On days when I can watch live, I do, and on other days, I watch the videos and then read this thread.

I am not really attached to any particular outcome in this case, so I find that I can relax more when the defense is up. On some level, I admire the amount of energy and effort the defense team puts up for JH. A legal system in which defendants are not entitled to a substantial defense is not a place I would want to live. A case like this, IMO, reveals that its important that there are people who will work to defend people like JH.

King sounds desperate now. Trying to push Reid but not succeeding on the point : just cause JH did NOT have disorganised speech doesn't mean he did not have disorganised thoughts. ( Psychotic episode.)

King trying to rebut issue of Bishop Defense Investigator as not contaminating the interview as Bishop was a social worker thus qualified to be there! King hectoring Reid.

I totally agree that JH should have a defence. I just find his team to be hard to watch. They are irritating. I can't put my finger on why.
