Newsweek tweeted the Foreman's name???????????

Yes, basically the defense seems to be conceding that the Prosecution proved the aggravators (mutliple deaths, child under 12 died, there was grave risk to the others who didn't die, his hack was heinous, cruel, torturous, etc, and he was lying in wait or ambush. I think it's obvious they are rolling their dice on the mitigation side, where they'll discuss the mental illness.

I expect no DP in this case. I expect the jury will find mitigation in his mental illness, and he'll get LWOP.

I think this too.

rut rho..Some tweeter is in deep do do....I don't think News week had anything to do with it..it was the person tweeting and linked article...

Wowza...I don't blame the juror for being upset..his name should never be named pursuant to Judges orders...Then of course IF news week article contain his name..NOT GOOD on them either!!

I think the judge should sic LE on the tweeter right away -- something similar to this happened during a trial in NC. A juror received an email about the case during the trial. He informed the judge the next day. The judge was the Senior Chief Resident District Court Judge (the biggie in the district -- a very fine jurist), and he immediately started an investigation -- it turned out to be nothing much, and there was no harm to the case and the juror was kept on the case. The investigators found the person who had sent an email to a juror and they visited him and had a little chat. I don't know the finality of the situation, but it certainly could have been a Contempt charge drawn against him. It didn't take the investigators too long to find him. The judge was quite angry about it that day in court, and the investigation was underway within hours of his hearing about it. The county LE are also under the judge's jurisdiction, so all he had to do was dispatch them with a court order. No fooling around with The Court.

I'm backing the defense in #TheaterShooting. Newsweek should be banned from court. How dare they name the foreman, trial is still going!

Hey Hey :seeya:

Just getting back into town... I did listen to a video from this am that was posted by Croaker Queen.

I CRINGED when I heard the judge ask (paraphrase)... " yes, but did he INTEND to kill the child"

Cringing as to I woke up every night at 3 am and stayed up till 8 am eastern.. and listened the Oscar Pistorius trial.

That is the "hanging chad".... did he INTEND to kill REVA specifically was and is now a clusterF... as he got off on charges :moo: due to that little loophole in the law.

:pullhair:

This jury has given their verdict, so not so much and issue like Oscar trial STILL IS.. but I did CRINGE when I heard that statement from the judge this am on rewind from CrokerQueen.

The judge is banning @Newsweek and its reporter not only from the #theatershooting courtroom but from the courthouse itself.

Sounds like #TheaterShooting judge is banning @Newsweek from courthouse after IDing jury foreman last week. "#Newsweek should know better."
