Using seamonkey.. I couldn't get on all morning.. ughhhh
I think he's a cyclist. Some of these roads (Leyden, 80th, Indiana, which eventually hooks to McCaslin) all are used by cyclists going from Golden to Boulder. When Arvada annexed Leyden Road from Indiana to Quaker, they were ecstatic. http://cyclistshaverights.org/corridor.html
Re Rock Creek- in Boulder Couny- the murder there was the Rochester case. A mother killed her 6 mo son because she thought he was autistic. Not guilty
by reason of insanity- mom was a mental health worker . Lots of press- 2010 I think. The backpack was left across the street and about 3 houses down from where she lived at the time.
same here. problems within firefox and chrome. wonky. sometimes it works and then it doesn't. I thought I had a virus or I thought maybe I was on time out.
I'm sure I'm in the minority, but I think it's wrong to take anyone's name from any registry (even a RSO) and put it out there on this (or any) site. Yes, I know they are people who are in the system as a S.O. and yes I know that means they have to be looked at, as they should, by the authorities.
People love to imagine they are a detective in the case and theorize and speculate, but I think it's dangerous and unfair and crosses a line to post names or provide links to people that are imagined as being involved. If you have a real lead, then give it to the CO police and don't post about it. Otherwise, let the authorities do their job; they will be following every lead, checking out every S.O. in the area, and are able to do so professionally and discreetly.
Sex Offenders
It is illegal to use the sex offender registry information to harass anyone. We would never condone that at Websleuths. However, it is okay if, when a child goes missing or is harmed, we look at the sex offenders in the area and post their information, along with maps to show how close they live to the victim. Never even hint at harassing anyone on the sex offenders list. Any posting here about a sex offender should always be within the law.
I'm sorry to ask again but, not sure I got a response. Did LE find anything when they searched the other area ?Standley? Someone may have answered but I've been havin trouble getting on the site this morning. TIA
On my MacPro with Safari and having mega-issues. lol
I think it is the Motley Fool ads at the top. They blocked me from doing anything other than clicking on their links...
no problems, but I use adblock add-on with firefox. I don't see any ads so maybe that's the key

I grew up on a large farm in a rural town in the mountains of Appalachia, but I cannot tell you where any pipes are except for a couple on my family's farm. Maybe I'm projecting my own lack of culvert pipe awareness onto everyone else, but I just don't think it's something most people really think about.

Also, is Rock Creek in Boulder County?
What's up w/ the board this morning? Not refreshing. Seems like I was locked out.?m srry just weird.
This RSO pretty creepily matches the Arvada sketches and lives near the area where the police moved in on. :what:
Just grabbing your post so I could bring forward what our moderator Bessie said when she addressed this last night. (on thread # 7).

Rules Etiquette & Information - Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community
Just FYI for anyone that wasn't aware that the rules had been changed in the not too distant past.
If it was left three houses down then it is probably a coincidence. If the perp wanted to make a point, imo, he would have left it in the exact front or back of the house, not three down.
