So I keep looking at the map. I don't know why, really... I just keep looking at the roads wondering how what got to where. How it happened, I guess. I feel really upset about this, and maybe I should declare a moratorium on reading the news or this site for a couple of days because it's 2am and I'm still reading. I guess it hits close to home because I have a daughter the same age.
Anyhow, so I keep looking at these maps, at Jessica's route to school. It occurred to me, and maybe someone already mentioned this on an earlier thread, but I still haven't finished reading them all, but look at the area where she was walking. These are not roads that go anywhere... they're just those serpentine neighborhood type roads that you get lost in because everything looks the same and you have to drive slowly because of all of the curves and not knowing whether a child or dog or whatnot will just run right out in front of you. In my neighborhood they actually have speedbumps in many of these sorts of roads.
So because her route, from house to park and then park to school, was entirely in these sorts of suburban, stay in the neighborhood sorts of roads, it just seems to me that the person who did this either lives there, or was there on a job. Or had been there on a job before. I just don't see how it could be different and make any sense. What would lead someone to just happen to be driving around in there at that time of morning for it to be a crime of opportunity from outside that neighborhood?
I'll try to attach a map of the walking route.
The second thing that I noticed is that everything makes a big circle... the area of Jessica's house/the park, to where she was found, to the area where her backpack was found. Again, I think it was someone within that immediate area, or someone who worked in that area.
I labeled the map: her house is A, the park is B, the intersection where MSM suggests she was last seen is C, the school is D, approx. area of backpack is E and approx. area where Jessica was found is F.
Now that I've written all of this, I am not even sure if it's helpful at all. Argh
I hope we wake up tomorrow (today) to find someone has been arrested.
