IMHO i really don't think the two pictures of the brunette being called a POI are of one person.

They are the same woman. The full pictures (not cropped) and multiple others of her are listed on her escort ads. They are both her, but the self camera phone photo is a year+ old and the other is newer.

The phone number associated with an ad with Kara's pictures also shows up for an ad to the brunette from as early as 2011. It also shows different pictures of the brunette which look to be the same girl. I am not sure if I am allowed to post those pictures.

Also, there are ads with both Kara and the brunette featured as a two girl ad. I am figuring that is why LE is searching for the brunette.

I also found an ad from Sept 2012 saying that the phone number is associated with a scam.

I've been noticing this too. There's one particular site, where there are pics of Kara that go back to September, before she was missing. The POI woman is also on this site, as are other women in the Colorado Springs area. What bugs me is Kara's pics for this site are in the exact same room as the other escorts pics feature them in. You can see the same poster, wall color etc so chances are she was in this exact same room where the other escorts took their pics, at one point or another. Please don't bash my head in for this but is there a chance she was/is actually involved with more than just modeling and maybe was an actual escort? It's of course just MO but it's beginning to look like this. I just want her to be found. I hope she is OK but her story is getting more and more confusing.

On one of the escort sites, if you search under all listings of the phone number, it shows results for a lot of ads but only the same pictures of four girls, one being the brunette woman who is a POI. Her full image (and other images) of her are there and you can Google Image and find lots of ads on different websites for her so.

I suppose the pictures could just be stolen pictures of the girls, but each of the pictures has similiarites: Taken in the same room, same neon pink bedsheet, same poster in some of the backgrounds. If the pictures were stolen, they were all stolen from the same source but IDK, obviously LE think there is a link between these girls more than just having their images stolen for the same ad.

If you go to Kara's facebook page, notice how her taste in music and her "likes" began to change in March.

There is a very real possibility that Kara entered into this mess willingly. She is naive but is technically an adult. If she is working for a pimp, she has lots of opportunities to "escape". <modsnip>.

Some girls do go willingly in to that lifestyle but they are made promises that are never fulfilled. Instead, they are met with violence. They fear retaliation against themselves and/or their families if they try to get help.

Pimps are not generally nice guys who love the women that work for them. They prey on girls (or boys) who already have issues or who are runaways. It's not a nice business. Drugs usually do play a role in this because it makes the girls dependent upon the pimp because they need the drug to survive.

Now, don't get me wrong, there are some women who enjoy this lifestyle and choose it for themselves but, believe it or not, they still usually reach out to their family, especially if they do not come from a broken home.

I do not know if either of those scenarios apply to Kara or not. Please don't think that pimps and "hoes" are not a form of human trafficking because they are and it is a big and overlooked problem in the United States.

There's a young man's FB and he has a few pictures of them kissing and sharing pet names with her, he 'liked' her 'modeling agency' (it's not really an agency but I assume you guys know what place, I mean, the BD company)'s Facebook as recently as October 20th. Just seems like she didn't have anyone super close to her; family out of town and a roomate.

Thanks for the welcome to the site. I used to escort and had things turn sour, hence my sudden arrival and interest at this case. And if, as I assume the above poster is implying, it's some kind of prostitution 'stockholm syndrome' that certainly doesn't make me feel any better about Kara or what may or may not have happened to her. They are not saying that Kara was involved in that but are worried that she may have been targeted by people who would lead her down that road.

Has MSM indicated that Kara may be involved in prostitution or drugs? Where is this coming from? Please provide some links because as a victim friendly site - this is very unfriendly.
