If you have found or looked at the main escortphonesearch page listing all photos associated with that number, Lola is the other brunette that isn't the POI (this discovered by backsearching her images through Google and finding her other escort ads that list her escort name as such).

Knox, I cant speak for others, but I myself was asking Hellaine if she reported finding the other brunette, the one that LE is now looking for. I'm sure that once Kara is found, they will announce that she's been located. There are way too many people worried to death over her to leave them hanging.

There was an ad using Kara's pics that was signed "skittlegirl" Naomi. I can't find the ad atm because there are a lot to go through but does anyone know what skittlegirl means? I tried Urban Dictionary but I didn't see it in there.

The picture her parents put out of her at graduation, had no such hole. Im not sure how long it takes to make the hole that big, but it dosent seem like any of the pictures her parents put out have a big hole in the ear..

That's what is sad. The parents are in complete denial about Kara's lifestyle. They want to present the Kara they used to know to the public. Well, the Kara they used to know is NOT the Kara who is missing!

Time and time again we see this. I believe information was and still is being withheld by family in the Kortne Stouffer case for this same reason. Denial and shame. IMO, that's selfish. If you want to find a lost loved one, everything should be open and on the table.

I don't know if this article will be of help to anyone, but it's from the NY Daily News, and contains a summary of a variety of reports from CO MSM.

They are not calling it a "subculture" that she fell into, but rather that she may be a victim of "sex traffickers". Honestly, I would think there would be a big difference between being a part of a subculture (usually a choice), and being held captive by traffickers! Perhaps they were being kind in the CO media?

NOTE: ALL JMHO - I think the best thing we - as the general public - could do to prevent these things from continually happening is to educate these women, and all of the general public, as to how real these sex trafficking rings are, and how easy it is to be taken. Stress the importance of ALWAYS having a chaperone(sp?) - preferably more like a body guard. I think that's the only way for any of these women to be safer, and still do what some of them really do enjoy (in re: to alternative modeling). Unfortunately it's never going to disappear, as I'm sure people remember "Prostitution is the oldest profession" (not that they are all prostitutes, but that it seems to be part of human nature, and/or necessity in many ways).

Odd combination of statements. Contradictory.

Actually, it's not altogether unheard of for people in the escort business to use pictures of completely unrelated women (or men) to lure in their clients. They will simply say something along the lines of; "Oh I'm sorry they aren't available, but you can take your pick of these other ladies/men that are...". Or, another model who is similar looking decided to illegally use her picture to promote herself.

Hence, why her picture could be found on a Las Vegas Escort Service site, but not be connected to her, or her disappearance in any way. If that's the case then it would make sense. The person who downloaded her picture from wherever could send a file to the police in CO, and with the data embedded would be able to tell when and where the person who used it got it from, and when.

Agreed. The ad was along the lines of a massive live cam outfit. A business with close to 1,000 possible ads for different girls. The guy living in a dorm at CSU couldn't possibly have known that Kara was missing when he placed that ad, could he?

Facebook Group for finding Kara Nichols confirms that the police have found and interviewed the women brunette POI in the flyers they were passing around. They are now looking for the second brunette in orderview her.

I have to say though, i am REALLY pleased about this devopement...it's got to be a very significnant one for LE, although (IMO) i have a feeling this woman may have some story concocted in advance regarding events on the night of Oct 9th.

It is good news that Deputies are able to relay the fact that Kara herself did not post these advertisments. It bothered me seeing that some people were almost implying that Kara had taken herself off willingly to Las Vegas and had posted these ads herself.
