praying that this sweet girl will be found and able to spend Easter with her family........
Dr Fessel do you think she planned on going with someone from the beginning and told her mother she was going to a birthday party to cover where she was really going and with whom? I mean if the friend wasn't even aware of her disappearance until LE notified her.
That is a real possibility. If the police found out that girl never knew anything about her coming over then they would have went back to the mom because she is the one that told them that.
They might have questioned the mother pretty hard on that just to make sure she was not making up the story and it was the daughter that did.
if her friend was not really meeting her, do you mean? has the friend said that? i did see there was doubt as to whether there really was a party so she may well have intended to go someplace other than where she told her mom, which is not unusual.
she had pink on, which i do not think is a gang color...that should not be a factor.
I am just thinking that she may have made some plans that were not the best choices but nothing that should have resulted in any harm to her...feel sure she fully intended to stick to her curfew if not her destination...i am getting sick feelings about her now that i did not have yesterday...i still thought she might be hidiing out fearing punishment yesterday, but that feeling is gone...
i think some locals know what has happened to her...i think that is more likely than a passing stranger...many instances of violence between teens of late, things getting out of hand, ganging up on kids, etc...any number of scary things go through my mind.
Someone has to be brave and come forward even if anonymously and tell where Kayleah is...this not knowing is too too cruel to her family. All of this is just my opinion and feelings, obviously...but If there was no party (LE said they could not confirm this yesterday, or that they would not confirm it? does anyone recall?) that means she was likely meeting up with someone or a group of someones her mother would not have approved of...IMO
This is very worrisome. I hope to God they can find her soon.
yes i am thinking boys from the high school or from the apartment complex...i was a young and stupid girl once and was very thrilled when older boys paid attention to me and would have, stupidly, gone for a ride with a group of boys if i recognized them...i hate to even admit it all of these decades later, but it happens, all of those parental warnings don't seem to apply if you feel you know the people...she may have even made the plans earlier, as i said above, and lied to mom, i did that too...i matured very early and looked older than my age and so i thought i was...
i am scared for her because boys/men tend to be more aggressive these days...there was a measure of fear of represcussions then that does not seem to exist today...
I agree with you. In fact I did the same thing, but dang it I got caught each time so I gave up. It looks like from the search photos that were posted that they are looking for a body and not a missing person. Which I pray that is not the case. But maybe the tips they are getting are sending them there for a reason.
Someone mention earlier that she had at one point a 17-year old boyfriend. Wrong. 12-year olds don't have 17-year old boyfriends. That is rape. Here is the Colorado law http://www.cga.ct.gov/2003/olrdata/j...003-R-0376.htm How come this guy isn't in jail... (Mr. Local DA)? Maybe facing 6-years in jail would get someone talking.
FBI agents and Greeley police diverted traffic until about 5 p.m. Friday and say they may do so again in the next couple of days as they search for Kayleah Wilson. She was last seen Sunday afternoon while going to a friend's birthday party with only the clothes on her back and an asthma inhaler. Authorities say she never arrived at the party.
The special agent in charge of the Denver FBI office, James Davis, says 50 FBI agents and 25 Greeley police officers are searching for Wilson. Davis says there is "no higher priority" for the Denver FBI office than finding Wilson.
