I don't think that's what the hole was. They would have had to replace it.
I agree. If that was where the septic tank was, it’s obviously gone now. I have never heard of them taking a septic tank.

I know this is only about his emotions:

When he told the reporter to get off his property, he came off as an arrogant person with a bad temper.

When the reporter was in his face asking him questions as he was trying to drive away, he looked like he was about to LOSE IT. He appeared to have a hard time “keeping it together”.

Innocent (or even guilty), I’d expect him to be putting on more of a concerned front, given that the mother of his child is missing. He wouldn’t have to even say anything to convey a sympathetic demeanor.

Instead, he comes across as an agitated person with a bad attitude.

Perhaps he’s irritated that he’s being hounded by LE and the media, if he’s innocent. Although, coming across miffed doesn’t look good in the eyes of the public when the mother of your child is missing.

If he’s guilty, he must be confident that they’ll never find the body, given his smug behavior.

If KB broke up with him on Thanksgiving, I could imagine him doing something ugly out of rage. Being home with the baby while KB continues to outearn him and dates other men could have been something his ego couldn’t handle taking.

They dug a pretty deep hole looking for something. JMO

thanks for this.

So did cops call waste mgmt and take things from his trash at the dump? Did they go to his house after he went to the dump?
Yes.

why hide in the pickup and hire someone else to dump it then??
Maybe he doesn't want anyone immediately converging on him. Maybe he is lazy. I don't know. I'll be interested to see what comes of this. Maybe he is this stupid. I am constantly amazed at the stupidity of people who think they can get away with things most of us don't think we could get away with and wouldn't try.

Only reason I can think of at this time is that he wanted to make sure it was done. He wanted to witness it himself.
The facility may have required proof of residency. Our's does and also charges a fee.

Just read this. They're saying that old unused septic tanks present a huge issue with people falling in. Wow. I learned something new today! Child falls into septic tank in Tewksbury; family warns of dangers

So maybe that was the location of an old unused septic tank?

That could be. Or maybe an old well or something.

Mine is really old which probably explains why my tank hole is so large.

After I had mine pumped out and I learned how large the opening was, now whenever I mow the grass I get the willies having to mow over the area near the opening. LOL

Or he didn’t want the others towing/using his trailer. Maybe even helping them out by transporting their stuff, but didn’t want to loan them the trailer. Unlikely, but possible. Btw, I am highly suspicious of him.
That would make sense. Friends asked him to haul their trash. That’s why they unloaded it.

I lived in Teller country for about a decade. There's tons of old mine shafts all over...especially in places like Cripple Creek/Victor (about a 40 minute drive). As a local he'd know where they were too...and he had plenty of time to act before anyone knew anything was suspicious.

PF did not go to the dump. PF drove a truck with a long trailer attached to a Waste Management Facility in Divide, Colorado.

This is a photo of the Waste Management Facility. It is on a paved road next to the main highway going through the town of Divide.

Im confused.. What's the difference?

Interesting theory....I did some building permit searching and it looks like some kind of septic work was done on that property back in the late 90s by a previous owner.

I think it very possible PF disposed of some key evidence in the septic tank such as KB's phone....or wallet. iow, something that could be dropped through the hose opening. JMO

The phone went to Idaho. Doubt very much someone brought it back just so he could incriminate himself by putting it into the septic tank, IMO.

Agreed! That phone will probably never be found.
The battery is dead by now, but can a phone company still send something that locates the phone using the SIM card or something?

If that’s what happened, someone very well could get away with murder.

Finding a body obviously isn’t a requirement, but absent compelling evidence here, it will be incredibly important to recover one.

If this is murder, of course.

why would they dig that close to the house? I don't think he would have buried her that close.
Well, how about Bruce McArthur, a serial killer from Toronto, that buried his victims in flower pots on his property?

Please know, I am not saying that this happened with Kelsey, just saying, there are a few out there that do bury their victims on their properties!

I wonder if he volunteered DNA to prove paternity. His DNA is bound to be in her house anyway, so that would not be a concern. Even DNA on Kelsey could be explained, if she is found.

  • #139
I can’t think of any cases (besides serial killers) that disposed of the body and all the related evidence on their own property. This would be very unusual. I think he hightailed it during the night to Idaho with her body, purse and keys.

I betcha that phone is in many little pieces buried somewhere in Idaho.
