Obviously, we can't talk about unsubstantiated rumors---that is against the rules for good reason.

But on the other hand, I believe that when people try to tell you something, you ought to listen to what they are saying. The fact that they are new, that what's being said is rumor---all of that goes to the weight that you give the information. But IMO you can still consider the matter. (Individually, not on WS.) The sheer numbers of people who are conveying variations of the same thing may mean there is a well-organized, widespread conspiracy to spread false information....or it might mean that there is truth behind the information.

There is 0 evidence for the rumors and more reason to believe its BS than its validity. Not one shred of evidence points that direction.

New profiles popping up and spreading the fake rumors is insulting to KB, her family, her child, her career and everything she worked for.

Right but it would most likely be a two way conversation.
From all indications we have so far it sounded like the text to the employer was a single one way statement to the employer that she would not be there the following week. I guess we dont know for sure what was in the text to the employer but we have no indication she conversed back and forth with them.

Most people needing a whole week off would know the employer would want to have a conversation about it.

Yes - ITA. And maybe it’s the lack of subsequent back-and-forth that is the suspicious thing. But it still potentially bought someone a week before the alarm was raised.

The fact is CB states they're still in a relationship, PF through his attorney says they're still in a relationship, KB's brother says they're still in a relationship, the neighbor indicates they're still in a relationship. The only person who contradicts this is the aunt.

I am thinking if one is handing over a child and not spending Thanksgiving together those are indicators of not having a relationship. If not at a minimum it shows distance and regardless, KB if she could would come forward to say something to set her absence straight. I think her Aunt is spot on.

Yes. I have tons of info on the father. I posted about the family business (formerly run by the father and another family member, now run by other family members) but it was removed for sleuthing the family. Which I don't believe we are allowed to do. If at any point that changes, I am happy to dish then.

I believed the relationship was over a long time ago because of a certain lack of togetherness which I had sensed all along. That's because I had a preconceived notion that partners are supposed to behave a certain way. Now I am also entertaining the idea that perhaps both of them, for one reason or another, preferred a somewhat detached relationship which had up until now, worked for them.

It appears near certain that PF is culpable in the gone missing and likely death of KB.

But suicide may warrant closer attention. The existence of an infant daughter and her religion background also likely decrease the chance of suicide. I am not going to make a mental health argument but an argument that frustration and anger lead to a spontaneous act.

KB was over extended. She had a demanding job and a 140 mile per day commute. KB is the mother of a 14 month old infant. She is far from home and family with few or no friends in a love and child situation that has not played out to her expectations and hopes, KB is isolated and lonely. There may be conflict with PF and his family regards child rearing and the daughter may be more attached to PF et al than to KB. The situation is unlikely to change. KB has not been forthright with her own family about the status and future with PF. PF is basically a cold shoulder and often an to her. KB is defeated but stoic and increasingly frustrated and angry with no release. The holiday season brings happiness for most of us and but still loss and sadness to many.

PF picks up the child to go to a warm family gathering leaving KB alone. Just that AM KB had painted a bright picture to her Mom. KB walks or somehow gets to the nearest truck stop and catches a ride or rides north to Gooding by long haul truck. She gets dropped off without going into Gooding, makes her phone texts, and jumps into that wild and beautiful gorge. <modsnip: profanity> over PF (and his family) big time in her anger and frustration and hopelessness. KB knows PF will be the immediate suspect and this also achieves the goal that her family is more likely to end up with custody of her daughter.

My caveat is that I do not think this happened. However, KB has gone missing (and likely dead) by the hand of PF, someone else close to her, a stranger, or her own hand. The scenario of suicide I described is most simple.

One thing that WS struggles over is the actual relation between KB and PF. Bet LE knows now because they will have evidence to how much time PF spent at KB's home and vice versa. My impression is that there will be little or no trace of the other, particularly evidence of any intimacy, found in either home.
