My hunch is that they're pulling flooring and/or drywall from various places in the house - basically anything where luminol showed a stain. Then they're going to DNA test those stains to see what is/is not relevant.

Bear in mind that she has an infant so there's a huge likelihood of baby stains. Further, if she or any previous resident had an indoor pet, that can produce a ton of stains on flooring. An unneutered male cat will often spray and stain drywall, etc.

Basically it might be a big fishing expedition, I've got 2 theories on why they may have chosen to do this now ratherr than earlier:

1. They recently encountered a tip or evidence that strongly suggests foul play occurred in the house.

2. Looming government shutdown may be threatening loss of access to FBI forensic/testing resources so they want to get this in before that happens.
I am not sure that luminol would show up animal urine.

Can someone remind me when the first time someone was in her home and the last?...Please?

Um...We know that KB, PF, and K were there on 11/22. We know that LE entered the home on 12/2. We know that at some point KB's brother traveled from Washington State to WP, went in the home and announced that none of her stuff was missing (no clothes, suitcases, makeup). We think WPPD probably went in the home again between 12/2 and 12/10--the day of the press conference. Then somebody from LE was there on 12/15, 12/19, and 12/20.

@PommyMommy -- do we know when the brother was in town?

So, here’s a POSSIBILITY I’m considering...if there was a struggle that led to KB’s death at her home (soon after grocery store visit)...it would be hard for him to deal with a cleanup/body move with a baby. So, he took baby home (cell phone data would show him going home when he said he did). Then he leaves baby at home with grandma and leaves cell phone home too, while he goes back to KB’s house to cover his crime.

So...if LE was going by PF’s cell phone info., maybe it made it seem his ranch was the best place to start the search. But cell phone movement can’t always paint a clear picture. MOO

But really... search her house first so you have some idea what to look for when you search his place? So ridiculous! IMHO

Law enforcement took photos of him but they aren't saying if there were any.
i missed that when did they do that? After dec 2? Which gives just about a week to heal. He would have had to agree to that, unless they had a warrant, so that would make me think he wasn't worried or why agree??

Possibly LE has (neighbor's security or doorbell cams) footage, and know who was at the house after she'd 'vanished'.

right?!?! I read a lot of death dogs (I'm just gonna go ahead and embrace that term) are trained off dead pigs. You'd almost need hospital/hospice access and approval to be able to train dogs on freshly deceased humans. IMO

I also saw a few sites stating you can donate your deceased body to dog training. How cool is that?? I might need to change my DL...
Leave your body to the dogs -- and save lives
Wow! I have a form to donate my body to scientific studies at a nearby university, but I have never mailed it, because my grandson started studying science there only months later, seven years later he is still studying there, so that may be a better option for me.

But to get a search warrant you have to have cause, even for a victim because it is their private personal space. So you have to show that they are in danger or that when you did the welfare check there were signs of a struggle. I could be wrong but i don't think they can always do things the way it seems easiest.

I feel like the search of his property led them back to hers.

Maybe he did have the baby with him, God forbid, and a 14 month old might, maybe, be talking in 3 word sentences. Two of my 4 were talking 3 word sentences at 10 months. The other two were slower. My oldest son would say, when I got home from work, “Where you go?” Perhaps this child is being keep from CB for fear she will say something. Hope I am wrong!
HA! Maybe!

I have full confidence that the CBI and FBI know what they are doing.

We just don’t know enough to form an opinion that they have screwed up here.

At some point, there’s a good chance that this will all make sense.

If she died in the house, I don’t think she would have been able to be removed quickly, unless PF did NOT do this. The baby would have most likely been there, adding to the stress of the situation. He would have had to get the baby into the car, get KB into the car, and clean up anything that could point to him. And likely in daylight. I do think she would have had to have been there long enough for dogs to sense. JMO though

No, he clearly talked to LE early on. Gave them his phone, dna, let them take pictures. Then at some point he got legal advice and let his lawyer do the talking from there. LE didn't ask him to search his property, they just obtained a SW. (Which was probably best for everyone.)

But yes, he talked to LE because he was the one who said he last saw her on 11/22 when he picked up the child.

Or that information was relayed to LE through his lawyer. I never got the impression through any statements that he directly interacted with LE. I thought he lawyered up right away, which makes complete sense given that he has LE in the family. But I could be wrong.

Certainly, but it depends on what they found.
But of course.

And this qualifier wasn’t part of your original question, was it?

Assumption being that they aren’t taking out pieces of walls doors or whatevers that show generic scuffs scrapes dings or holes. Fluids seem more the expectation, n’est-ce pas?

Wait....really?!? So he traveled to WP, entered her home, before CB called to get WPPD to do the welfare check??? Wow.

I originally didn't think the dump/waste place meant much because he had so much time before that day to dispose of stuff.

but it seems perhaps dump lead them back to his property...which now has resulted in 2 more trips to her house.

who knows.

A government 🤬🤬🤬🤬 down would have zero effect on law enforcement activities. It closes national parks and monuments. But essential tasking public safety go on. The agents would still come to work but not be paid. And the. When the government opened again, they would get back pay.

I’m a federal employee for DoD, so I’m sure.
