If she died in the house, I don’t think she would have been able to be removed quickly, unless PF did NOT do this. The baby would have most likely been there, adding to the stress of the situation. He would have had to get the baby into the car, get KB into the car, and clean up anything that could point to him. And likely in daylight. I do think she would have had to have been there long enough for dogs to sense. JMO though
It could have happened later in the day after he took the baby to his house. Maybe he went back to her house and something ensued then. Maybe they had planned a talk.

But of course.

And this qualifier wasn’t part of your original question, was it?

Assumption being that they aren’t taking out pieces of walls doors or whatevers that show generic scuffs scrapes dings or holes. Fluids seem more the expectation, n’est-ce pas?

I was thinking bullet holes. (Shrug) You are probably right, but if the dna doesn't match her, then they will have to find out who it belongs to and rule stuff out.

(Again, we really don't know what they removed or why. No reason to argue over speculation.)

Wait....really?!? So he traveled to WP, entered her home, before CB called to get WPPD to do the welfare check??? Wow.
uh, well that's a detail I missed. A very important detail indeed if that's accurate.

I originally didn't think the dump/waste place meant much because he had so much time before that day to dispose of stuff.

but it seems perhaps dump lead them back to his property...which now has resulted in 2 more trips to her house.

who knows.
Agreed. One of two things may have happened:

Evidence from the dump led to subsequent searches at both properties.

Lab results came back, that necessitated more intensive searches at the properties.

It could also be a bit of a mix, and one led to one search, and the other led to the other search.

Something obviously caused this.

Good point

It’s incomprehensible that their freezers haven’t already been checked. And that would be a really dumb place to hide a body you don’t want found.

It seems they were focusing on his farm (probably her cellphone pinged there?). And having found nothing, came back to hers.

But to get a search warrant you have to have cause, even for a victim because it is their private personal space. So you have to show that they are in danger or that when you did the welfare check there were signs of a struggle. I could be wrong but i don't think they can always do things the way it seems easiest.
They said it was suspicious days ago, before they searched PF’s place. If you have probable cause to search his place, you certainly have probable cause for hers.

If my daughter was not able to be contacted, I would go to her house to check before I called the police. Wouldn't anyone?

And some smaller items (or pieces)...

The focus of the 4 week investigation into missing mom #kelseyberreth turns to her townhome as investigators remove an assembly line of evidence from inside.

The middle female appears to be carrying cabinet doors (kitchen or bath).

I am not sure that luminol would show up animal urine.

Not sure either, but i know feces stains would show, and if the floor was recently bleached the whole thing would glow.

Yes, see post at about the 1:12 mark in this video:
Colorado mom missing since Thanksgiving

This actually shows that he was there on the 3rd, or the 2nd, depending on when "last night" was. It says:

Update 12/4 @ 0300 - after arriving at Kelsey's house last night and combing through things, we know 1 thing for certain, Kelsey did not pack to go anywhere.

ETA: he originally posted on the 2nd, but this was an update, clearly showing it was the 4th at 3am

i missed that when did they do that? After dec 2? Which gives just about a week to heal. He would have had to agree to that, unless they had a warrant, so that would make me think he wasn't worried or why agree??
According to PF's attorney PF voluntarily gave up his phone, a DNA swab, and to be photographed but did not say when that occurred. But it was certainly after December 2nd and no later than December 12th when PF's attorney released that statement.

Isn't luminol for blood?

I have full confidence that the CBI and FBI know what they are doing.

We just don’t know enough to form an opinion that they have screwed up here.

At some point, there’s a good chance that this will all make sense.
Maybe. But it also seems like FBI and CBI have put WPPD on traffic duty and took over. Maybe they said, ok boys, we will take it from here. MOO

Pinhole cameras found in the ceiling? Or if the ceiling is a one of those hung ceilings, videos, pics etc are often hidden up there.
Whaaaaat?

Its still the jurisdiction of the local police, but the CBI and FBI are specially equipped for this sort of investigation.

Especially when it comes to crime scene and data analysis.

When you call to report an adult person missing the police don't just say ok, we'll get right on it. They say are you sure, where else could she be? Oh, look her fiance says she went to visit grandma, Brother and mom say no, grandma doesn't know anything about a visit. Police she told work she was going to be away. Are you sure she isn't just taking a break for a bit etc etc. Brother and mom don't buy this. Brother goes to check her house, tells police she didn't go off to take a break- her suitcases, clothes make up etc. It takes a bit to get police to act on an adult missing person esp when there are other indicators. So then police go to do a welfare check and like brother says- cars there, clothes make up, guess this is a missing person lets start looking- Dec2.
