I am just wondering what PF is telling his mum about having little K that day and suddenly full time from that day onwards. I mean - she would know KB and understandably have an idea about how 'considerate and reliable' she is (as vocalised by CB).

So for PF to have li'l K and sprout this codswallop about his fiancee going missing... to take some time off.... (yeah distancing here I can smell the fish he left out pheweeee its wild)

You would think she would be suspect about it. I wonder if PF is violent towards his mum? You do what is right and if that means your son faces consequences so be it. So if she is lying for him then wow LE should be lining her up for some bargaining power about this case.

We haven't been given any information about her job. If it involved the military in any capacity, that info may be classified. We've been told she was a "flight instructor," but that could mean many things. She might not have left the ground, ISTM. Or she might have been in the cockpit with future top-guns. We just don't know. MOO

Isn't it possible to access private and/or commercial pilots license records? Has anyone done that? I think that info might public record. I could be wrong. I often am.
If it is available it would show what type of license she had and if she has maintained it consistently. It would also show the basic details about what she is able to teach. If I remember correctly, certain instructors are only able to be in the air for a certain amount time. Some are only allowed in the air during the day. Some instructors have to log a certain amount of teaching time while another instructor is in the air with them. Be interesting to see that information if it is available.

Modern horseshoes are most often made of steel which is an iron alloy. Older horseshoes were made of iron.

Is it possible that a farrier generally has iron dust deposits on their person, hands, in their vehicle, in their boot prints - that could create widespread luminol false positives?

I didn't look too hard, but it seem to be an issue around any ironworker, ironworks.

(~~~the reasonable doubter~~~)

Interesting question. I found an article stating that lots of household agents would produce false-positive reaction with luminol. Some paints and varnishes, for example.

A study of common interferences with the forensic luminol test for blood. - PubMed - NCBI

ETA: and of course, horseradish (peroxidase) or turnip, as well as some other vegetables.

Is LE still at Kelsey's residence?

Dang, I wish we'd hear something!

I may be obsessing over this, but I am worried that the baby was in the house if she was killed there.

Sorry to be so graphic.

They left a while ago, again sealing the door with tape.

It’s quite possible that the baby was there at the time.

Hopefully she didn’t see anything, if that’s what happened.

Speaking of smelling things that stink, I feel that Ma F has MaWatts inclinations (won’t turn on her son, ever).

Only with a tougher exterior. Hope I’m wrong!

KB has a commercial license issued 2015. You can google "FAA airmen search" and an easy to use database will pop right up. I used the famous Chesley Sullenberger for a comparison.

It’s good to see movement on a case.

I found Iron Oxidizing Paint, a specialty paint product that contains iron intended to create a rust appearance.

and

Iron oxide - Wikipedia

"...Iron oxides and oxide-hydroxides are widespread in nature, play an important role in many geological and biological processes, and are widely used by humans, e.g., as iron ores, pigments, catalysts, in thermite..."

and

Why are Barns Traditionally Painted Red?

"...When such paint became cheaply available via mass production in the late 1800s, farmers often stuck with the color red because, thanks to the abundance of iron oxide, red paint was still generally the cheapest paint..."

So I think that luminol results could be corrupted by the presence of iron dust from the work of a known farrier. Maybe his whole truck lit up, or some other false positive.

My money would be on strangulation anyway if KB is gone and PF were responsible. JMO.

I wonder if law enforcement has used the same technology research that they did for the Molly Tibbetts case?

In that case...."The investigation was driven by technology from the beginning. Tibbetts' phone records indicated her rate of movement on a rural road near Brooklyn sped rapidly, as if she went from running to traveling in a car. Investigators then obtained a warrant requiring Google to provide data showing which users could be tracked to that vicinity."

Unsealed documents reveal new details about Mollie Tibbetts investigation

Wow! That's quite an imagination you have there. But yeah, it could have happened like that.
Not really dude. I was only responding to the prior poster. Has not been in my imagination at all other than to disprove the picture she presented.

Because I am a foreigner and suck at geography. That square sitting atop the Colorado square... I can assemble a map, but WY or WI to me looks almost the same! (Feeling ashamed, and I should, because I have been to WI, once, at least. WY is terra incognita).
Gotcha! No need to feel ashamed, either. Thanks for the explanation.

Actually, now that you have reminded me, I know a family with whom I grew up whose father died of that and all but one of the 5 children of that family died relatively young, but one of the children did not inherit the gene.

Wilson's is a rare hereditary disease.
If a person is diagnosed, family members should all be tested.
If detected early in life, treatment can occur, and that person has a relatively good life.
If detected late in life (often as in my friend's case, it was difficult to detect), the patient has a poor life, and dies.
As my friend's case, was years ago, I am hoping over time, diagnostic tests have improved.

A government **** down would have zero effect on law enforcement activities. It closes national parks and monuments. But essential tasking public safety go on. The agents would still come to work but not be paid. And the. When the government opened again, they would get back pay.

I’m a federal employee for DoD, so I’m sure.

Lol. I think you accidentally wrote something other than "shutdown" and it edited you!
