Found it...interior of Kelsey's home. https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/269-E-Lake-Ave-Woodland-Park-CO-80863/62719652_zpid/
I don't know if that place has an attic. But the home has a loft like second floor, so the first floor is open to the second floor. Someone had wondered if they were taking out cabinet doors from the kitchen, but with fresh baked rolls on the counter, it doesn't seem likely that's the room that something happened in.
edited to add-somewhere back on the last page someone had posted pics of the interior of the home. If I find the link I'll post it.
That's what I'm thinking. I had also wondered if there's any space to stuff things in around where the flue to the fireplace is, it does go up to the ceiling. I had wondered if he pulled a few boards away and shoved evidence in there to hide it.Ladder perhaps used to access 2nd floor if stairs contain evidence?
Boom! I think I just heard a shoe! I doubt they found it by chance. MOOAccording to this news report from Fox 31 Denver, they located the phone in Twin Falls, ID. That statement is located near the 6 minute mark on video.
Finally catch up to an active thread and this is my first post on the case. Sadly, it's an anticlimacticYes - you and I have the same question.
I realize they had a warrant ready for his arrest. I just wonder if they served the warrant at that moment BECAUSE they thought he was attempting to flee and that their preference (had he stayed home) would have been to wait longer and gather even more evidence.
I realize they had enough evidence for the arrest....since they, in fact, made the arrest. I'm just wondering about the timing and PF & mom being in vehicles when arrested.

My guess is two more will be arrested.
He doesn't seem too bright either. He may not even come up with the plan. I'd love to hear him talk. Any video links?
I wonder what the underlying issues will be, or the red flags. Most of the studies on intimate partner homicide say the vast majority of cases have the red flags of domestic violence and abuse. Most women's organizations feel they are good at identifying who is at high risk but not good about doing anything to stop it. In this case there hasn't been any indicator that has DV has happened, but we aren't being given info either. The other red flags are jealousy and controlling. Many on this thread have said they see signs that he is controlling. I don't think we have an info to show jealousy but that may come. It looks like from what one poster is finding on her pinterest that she was not feeling good about some relationship. Enough to post about it. I wonder if whatever the issues were that were making her feel negative about the relationship became an ongoing arguement for them. And they were significant enough that he felt it would come up in a child custody suit. And then combined with whatever is messed up inside his head that was enough to want her gone. I don't even know why I am thinking about this, it is pointless because I will never understand the mindset or pathology that leads to this.
This is just an awful outcome. I will never understand how one chooses such a path. Do the charges mean this was a murder for hire? If so we can expect another arrest?
it's almost like someone had possession of this phone or knew of its exact location. and we obviously know PF isn't talking.
Moses Lake church holds vigil for mother presumed dead
Members of the Moses Lake Seventh-Day Adventist Church have spent the last several weeks praying for Kelsey Berreth, her family, and investigators.
Berreth worshiped and attended school at the church. The people who knew and loved her held a vigil Friday night.
"Everybody is devastated," said SL, who watched Berreth grow up. "We don't know what to do, so we came together to pray for her family tonight so that God would just be with them, comfort them."
Church members wrote letters to Kelsey's family.
"They were just a loving family, and they were an integral part of our church," JL said. "Everybody loved them, and everybody loved Kelsey. We just watched her -- she matured through the years, turned into a beautiful young lady," JL said.
Possibly, but after they brought in the ladder they were seen carrying out large flat objects, possibly drywall pieces or cupboards. So it was surmised that the ladder was used to remove these. But it could have been for something else, darn police won't tell us anything, lol.
Vaulted ceiling, no mention of attic, wondering what ladder was for other than staircase or loft or ceiling.Found it...interior of Kelsey's home. https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/269-E-Lake-Ave-Woodland-Park-CO-80863/62719652_zpid/
Thanks. It gets confusing when other sites are discussed here at all. I wish we would all agree to ignore them and not comment at all about what's happening elsewhere.
Just my humble opinion, not telling anyone what to do.

I'm guessing that he just didn't feel like paying child support, and he thought that he figured out the perfect murder.
