Totally crazy! That’s the most the law allows. Can you believe that.

Agreed. He had at least 10 days. Mom didn't become concerned until Dec 2. HE never reported her missing or asked for a welfare check. Then the texts to her work and "to him" were also IMO buying him time and meant to lead LE astray when and if they became involved. He may have even had time to repaint her place if indeed he did to cover up blood spatter.
I'm curious as to why, if this was preplanned and "thought out" then why would there be such a mess and why did it occur at her home. He could easily have led her out into the woods to search for a Christmas tree, for example, and then there would be no obvious crime scene. Not so well planned after all.
Do any of y’all remember the tragic case of Ingrid Lyne from Renton WA a Mom and nurse who met John Charlton (monster) online and dated a couple months in 2016? I think he murdered strangled her after a date to a Seattle Mariner baseball game. He dismembered her in a bathtub with a saw. He basically was a drifter with alcohol problems. I think I remember LE finding pieces of bone, flesh and blood in the drain after they took it apart. He scattered her body parts all over Washington in trash cans.
Maybe PF did something similar?

Man charged with slaying of Ingrid Lyne tells police: I’m ‘not a normal person’
I keep going back to this same thing, if it was planned or premeditated- it wasn’t such a good plan.I also feel, your last paragraph, would have been far easier for PF.
No obvious crime scene, and perhaps dispose the body in the wilderness, where animals would dismember the body.
No clean up, building work etc.
Therefore PF may have lost his temper at Kelsey's home,
and continued from there, still in a rage.
MOO.
I've wondered the exact same thing! Like why release a statement on 12/22 that says you were contacted by the FBI on 12/15 to assist with the execution of several search warrants related to the case but offer no other information about the nature of the search warrants or what evidence may or may not have been recovered. Why wouldn't they wait until they could confirm or deny that evidence was recovered and handed over to the FBI or why wouldnt they release it on the same day as the last press conference? It seemed weird to me... almost as if they just wanted to brag about their role in the investigation. Like they weren't given their due credit during the PC and wanted the public to know.
I don't think he solicited someone because he didn't have the nerve to do it himself, but because if someone else did it, he wouldn't be caught. He'd have an alibi and be somewhere else. He surely realizes the boyfriend/fiance/husband is the first person who is suspected.I don’t know if PF killed Kelsey all by himself or if he had help. Since LE believes he asked someone for help, I’m wondering if he wanted her dead but just didn’t have the nerve to maybe do it all by himself. If he did end up doing it himself, I’m thinking he’d try to take an easier/less messy way out. I’d be shocked if he dismembered her. It just seems like that would be too much for him.
I may be in the minority here, but I think it’s very possible that her body is in Idaho.
PF went to all that trouble to make it appear that Kelsey was in Gooding, alive and well, at the time those texts were sent. IF he thought beyond that, beyond just doing that to buy him time and distance...it makes sense that he might also think “Ok, I’ve made it look like Kelsey was here in Gooding on the 25th. How can I make that falsity even more believable? I know, I will bring or have somebody else dump Kelsey’s body nearby. As if somebody else, probably random, came across her here and killed her.”
At least that makes sense to me. Why kill her and just leave her in an area close to him if he’s trying to prove she was en route to Washington? Why not dump her in an area that coincides more with the phone ping location?
JMO, and I realize he might well have disposed of her body right after the fact, much closer to home. Just throwing out another possibility.
Yeah you're completely distorting what I said but whatever.I view people who start complaining "victim blaming" when anyone just assumes that Kelsey, a beautiful, hard-working, independent mom might have fallen of love with Patrick and had another relationship, as prejudiced and misogynistic as people who assume that having a child out of wedlock is shameful.
There is a totally different way of viewing the whole situation.
One feels sorry for this strong, hard-working, beautiful mom, commuting long hours every day, to her dream job, not moving anywhere closer to D.Aviation, because she was locked in this relationship with Patrick, for the sake of raising her daughter with both parents. One feels even more sorry for her if she loved this disgusting. She deserved better, much better than him.
Logic prompts me that she was too exhausted and isolated to even look for a relationship. But if we ever know that she had one, a good one, I shall be only happy for her. Imagine how tired she was, to raise a kid, to work, and to be stuck with this Patrick, who, instead of gratitude for a child, thought of nothing better than killing baby K' s mother. One wishes that KB met a really deserving man instead.
I had a friend who we all thought had a pretty good marriage, until she Bacame pregnant. As her body changed her husband was apsolutely repulsed by her and told her often. When the baby came he wouldn’t even go to the hospital. Her Mother brought her home he took one look at her and said she still looked pregnant, and walked out. Her mother took her back to her home and there she stayed. Everyone had been appalled the whole pregnancy and held their breath while waiting to see what would happen. She started divorce proceedings. Needless to say, he didn’t have any friends left. And he never got to know what a lovely daughter and now Grandson he has.
Lol, can you imagine that phone call from WM to LE, "Hey, y'all need to look out the window right now."
I have never known a farrier to sedate a horse ever. It is up to the owner, you either call a vet or you can do it yourself.
There were horses on his property and he certainly might have had some stocked in his barn.
Why do you think he tranqed her? What would the point be if as I said he/they were going to do away with her anyway.
I just do not get this horse tranq. thing.
Yeah you're completely distorting what I said but whatever.
My thoughts on dating sites is, PLEASE stay away from them! Sincerely hoping they find KB "whole".Do any of y’all remember the tragic case of Ingrid Lyne from Renton WA a Mom and nurse who met John Charlton (monster) online and dated a couple months in 2016? Well that too crossed my mind, yes. I guess we’ll know more soon.I don't think he solicited someone because he didn't have the nerve to do it himself, but because if someone else did it, he wouldn't be caught. He'd have an alibi and be somewhere else. He surely realizes the boyfriend/fiance/husband is the first person who is suspected.
The fact he doesn't have an alibi (that we know of) make me think the person he solicited turned him down. Or, maybe he does have an alibi but since we haven't heard a word from him, we don't know about it.
