Agree, he left her somewhere he's comfortable with and it's closer than Idaho. And I think he had it planned before it ever happened, jmo. Maybe not that very moment but he had a plan for her.
At first, I thought she would be close to WP. I doubt she is in Teller County. PF has been there a long time and may know a lot of back roads for quite distance. But now with the SW's in ID, I am not so sure she is in CO. Who is it here that says "leave things you never want found in WY"? There must be a reason for that local wisdom. I-80.

I do. I also believe they got her phone. I believe the Verizon spokesperson, the false ping I think was a red herring so to speak, that LE used to their advantage. To rope in 'mastermind/s'. Who only think they can outsmart Technology, and LE.
Trust me Verizon engineers are no slouches. I have no idea what they do or how they do it. I just know they do.
PS.
I will also go as far to say that anyone mastermind/s that are fool enough to think they can get away with a false ping, and fake message, would be fool enough to keep her phone in order to generate more fake messages in the future,to go along with the she false narrative, that she's unbalanced, druggie, etc.
Moo

I think and wonder about all those things too. This morning I was wondering about what draws two

Maybe it took him three days to devise the plan. Maybe it took him three days to get to that part of the country. Maybe he first disposed of her body in another state which hasn't even been mentioned and afterwards, drove there with her phone. My question, did he wait until all evidence (bar the phone) had been disposed of prior to making that call. Was it the final thing on his checklist?

If it took him 3 days to go 700 miles he must have been carrying her body and/or evidence there on horseback. Lol. In my mind getting rid of the phone would be the last thing he did. Maybe he kept KB's phone a few days to see who would call. Maybe her mom called both Friday and Saturday and left voicemails for KB and also tried calling him Saturday or on Sunday morning. So Sunday he puts "operation ditch the phone and distract/delay" into action. Then perhaps Sunday evening he calls CB back and tells her KB texted to say she was taking a week and going to Washington. MOO.

That's a very good question. It seems that every scrap of an animal is today used for some purpose: meat, hide for leather, bones ground for various puposes. The only part I could think must be waste is the large intestine and perhaps blood; since madcow disease perhaps CNS/brain. But yes, I think a large incinerator would be necessary for some entrails that cannot be rendered into anything useful.

I have driven past a feedlot / slaughterhouse way out in the country many times. They have a small hotel, restaurant and landing strip. People actually fly in to eat the "freshest steaks anywhere!" I could never eat or stay there because even in winter cold, the smell of the air for miles is horrible. It is not just condensed urine + manure + mud, nor is it death or decomposition, or anything I could ever specify. I think you may have identified it, it is likely the smell of an industrial incinerator burning entrails and parts.
I worked at a humane society with a crematory. The smell is unmistakable.

ETA on an earlier post, I was buying a brand of dog food for a long time for my pets, decided to try that brand dog biscuits. There was horse hair in them, not just mixed inside but also sticking out in some places. It was the person talking about beef plant rules. Makes me wonder about different meat (not just beef) processing plants.

Maybe the solicitation came in when PF tried to get someone to get send those text messages and get rid of the phone. That would account for the delay in the messages being sent.

The charge is solicitation to commit murder. If he asked someone else to send texts or transport the phone it would be different charges. JMO.

You are so right WildWest. We lived close to a human crematory/funeral home many years ago and the smell was awful. I have been told there are now measures to prevent the awful odor.....but once you smell it you always remember it.

Interestingly, no other photo but the bookingv one shows L eye deviated sideways. I wonder if he is simply losing vision in this eye as there are no other symptoms consistent with a nerve palsy one might see.

Usually exotropia is more noticeable when one is tired. My daughter had surgery to correct hers when she was 3. When she is tired we still notice a very slight deviation. If he in fact has a “lazy eye” he likely was treated at a young age or it’s very mild.

ETA: Its hard to tell from that picture after looking at it more closely!

I’m just so thankful LE had enough evidence to arrest PF so quickly. We’ll see what LE has to say about formal or additional charges in the coming days/weeks. Imagine if we were months or years into this and there were still no arrests. That would be beyond frustrating. And the evidence will eventually be released. Some of these incidents, although horrible, do end up with justice being served. At least he won’t be able to wreck any additional lives.

Agree. I am not a vegetarian but almost stopped eating meat. I don't like the taste. Either it is growth hormone in beef, or the way they are treated at megafarms, but it doesn't taste well.

I don't eat meat or dairy at all because of this. Don't want to get too O/T but ugh, the way these slaughterhouses function...

I'm thinking on those lines.

Took care of the body on day/night 1. Realized afterward the phone ping in Idaho would be a red herring. So he or somebody takes a trip. I do not see a scenario where he takes two separate trips; or takes a body and phone on day three.

PF doesn't know that no one is missing Kelsey, or looking for her by the 25th. He likely turned the phone off on the 22nd, so he wouldn't know if anyone called- but in his mind he will think that people have. So I doubt Kelsey's phone was turned back on until the 25th in Idaho.

I think he would be looking over his shoulder by the weekend of the 25th with increasing level of paranoia. PF knows LE will be coming to him with questions, he just doesn't know when. Which leads me to believe he had assistance with the phone.

There is no way to know at this point, so this is my speculation.

I think it's an arguable point. PF is charged with solicitation; that means he tried, by some means, to get someone to help him before the act.
We don't know who, or how many people, he may have approached before the act/acts.

Ewwww how terrible. How long ago are you talking?

Also there are NO more Horse slaughter plants in the United States. The horses are shipped to Mexico & Canada.
I once saw part of a video on how they come to their end in Mexico, only a part of it and I had nightmares for a long time.

In light of the charges (1st degree, solicitation), I believe this was planned ahead of time, and that he chose Thanksgiving Day with a purpose. I also think he chose the time of day with a purpose. This leads me to think he wanted to kill her early in the day with plenty of time to clean up the mess. That he wanted to complete the job the same day. I do not think she will be found more than a few hours from her residence.

Ugh.....That would make me want to puke!

I doubt PF sat at home and went nowhere from Nov. 22 until Dec. whatever. There have got to be local people (like the waste dump employee), or friends or acquaintances, who saw him at various places. I hope they speak up and are sharing their info, even if they think it is small or not a big deal.

It might be telling to see PF’s cash withdrawals from his bank over the past 6 months.

  • #238
I wonder if his mom, or someone in his family, owned property in Idaho?

The humane society was 1987-1990. The dog food was was mid 1990's.

Why did he wait 3 days to send delaying texts from Idaho? Did he need more time to clean up or get rid of evidence? This is what keeps going through my mind as I try to figure out where KB's body could be located.

If she sent the texts, "allegedly", establishing his alibi and confirming that she was traveling to WA, and then "disappeared" en route, in a year, he could claim the kid to himself. It is something like "divorce in absentia". He would not be able to claim her life insurance, or anything else, but the kid, he would.
