True. We are seeing him stripped of the mask he wore. She did not have that benefit. Apparently he was able to portray a loving, gentle spirit to those around him and that was much of her attraction to her. I suspect that she may have begun to see who he really was toward the end.

I wonder about his 3 brothers. Do they live in the area? Was/is PF competitive with them? Perhaps PF's mom always wanted to have a girl. It could be that Kaylee is the only female grandchild, so Patrick topped his brothers in that regard.

The solicitation charge reminds me of Atlanta attorney, Fred Tokars, who rode around town in a limo with prostitutes, hitting the bars asking multiple people if they would kill his wife. A friend of his partner in selling drugs took the offer and killed the wife in front of her kids. Fred was convicted.

So in the tiny town where PF lived, who would he ask to kill Kelsey? If he asked in the 2 bars, everyone would know it.
It have to have been someone he has known for a very long time, a relative or a shady person he met on the rodeo circuit or one who delivered feed or transported his cattle or horses.

The obvious reason why the Frazee ranch was small with no stock is that they didn't have the money to feed the animals.

There is only one bar in Florrisant, the Thunderbird. We have a few more taverns in Woodland Park. I have yet to meet anyone who knows him, though he graduated from WPHS.
I agree about the rodeo circuit theory, bc nobody seems to know him. There is a rodeo in cripple creek every year. I was asked to bartend it this summer but I was already busy and not into that scene lol.
It seems he very much kept to himself. I never saw him at any bar in Woodland Park. I've never heard of him and don't have any mutual friends w him, although I do w SF.

It would be nice if a local offered the B’s a place to stay or rented a house or apt to them for a really low price.

I would also venture to guess that the SDA community has reached out to help them in anyway possible. I know myself from our own church community how willing everyone is to help in the time of trouble.

I’ll bet they have an outpouring of help from the Colorado community. This is a big story and so tragic- I can’t imagine people there aren’t helping in any way they can. And the family has a gofund me account to help support also.

I haven't heard of where they are staying, or anyone in the community helping . The B's seem to be pretty quiet and private as well. I haven't seen anything on our community page. Or heard thru the grapevine.

His unkempt appearance has me wondering if he has some injuries he is trying to hide? But probably a "whole body search" (or whatever LE would call that?) was done when he was arrested? And it's not likely any superficial wounds he might have from when he killed KB (do I have to say allegedly?) would still be visible. I don't know... Just thinking out loud, I guess. I'm trying to figure out why he's not keeping up with his hygiene. Maybe he's scared of going into what I assume would be a public shower?

I’m happy but not surprised the Bs will maintain temporary custody. Also, not surprised about F’s intervening in custody hearing.
PF’s silence will continue. It’s what his atty advises I’m sure, but even more, it’s his way of controlling, too. JMO
Also, IMO and in my hope, LE will make an arrest(s) before Monday (this may be more in my hope than anything!).
Question: Will PF actually be in court Monday or will he be there via video? Sorry if this has already been addressed.

Respectfully, I find it hard to believe an attorney would advise a client to not respond in court. "not talking" is one thing, but to not respond when being addressed by the court is something else entirely. Using my own terminology (i.e., not what I consider to be a legal description), I would think that makes him a "hostile" party, no?

This just bugs me. SF did not provide the majority of the baby's care - the baby's mother did. and maybe her father. until her father killed her mother. SF has no special rights to that baby just bc KB was killed and PF refused to let anyone else see the baby.

I agree with you to a degree. But when my son was growing up and went away to camp for a few weeks, the parents were told not to have contact with our kids because every time they were settling in, contact with us would set them back.
Then when he went to a great military academy prep school for high school, we were absolutely forbidden from having contact for the first three weeks. After that time, we were permitted contact at limited times and certainly had weekend visitation once a month.
These separations were supposed to help with the initial transition and to allow bonding with the new group. Of course, we got our kids back ultimately, which hopefully will be different than little K. (Meaning little K will stay with the Bs.)
Just wanted to share that.

To my knowledge, teller county jail is VERY small. Maybe a few other short term inmates. It's just a small facility.
