Assuming this was a first time. And assuming that it served only the purpose of ridding him of KB and not fulfilling a deeper need. Sorry to go so dark....but can we really just assume anything?
I don’t think either is a leap.

Seems we forgot to make a map, or it is very well hidden.

I'm happy to put it together. Please note, this is a back and forth process that takes a few steps of refinement to get right.

Locations that need addresses:

Safeway
Kelsey's home
PK's acreage
Waste Disposal
Phone Ping

Here's the starting point. If anyone has approximate addresses for these places, please add to this comment.

Nice, thanks!
I saw something from one of the Denver news channels very early on that led me think her phone went up I-25 then west on I-80 to Idaho. I've never seen it again, second guessing if I interpreted it correctly.

I just watched, again, the Today Show story (Kelsey Berreth case: Parents of missing Colorado mom get custody of child.

There is a gentleman who was introduced as a "colleague" of PF with the Two Mile High Club/Cripple Creek. Searching the TMH Club, I see they are involved with donkeys and hold tours up to Aspen. Has anyone thought Aspen may be an area of interest to search. Years ago we drove from Denver to Aspen along the Continental Divide and let me tell you, I am not so sure I could do that again. The roadside drop up the CD was directly straight down in many spots. WAY DOWN.... Gorgeous but super scary.

I forget who was doing the sleuthing of the picture of KB and the donkey but I think they nailed it (maybe @margarita25 or @Gardener1850 ??) based on what I have read on the TMH Club... That is super sleuthing at it's finest!!!

Mods, feel free to delete if I am not allowed to mentioned the Two Mile High Club but since it was on national TV and there is a link, I thought it would be OK.
Independence Pass is the the drive up to Aspen. Been there done that a few times. Agree it is pretty hair raising drive. All roads in the Colorado mountains are like that though as they don’t believe in guard rails. Pikes Peak access road is even closer to Woodland Park. I hope LE has some leads as to where her body could be because it would be impossible to search the high mountain passes. Imo

LE mentioned having "narrowed down the search area". Since the day we heard those words, has there been any reports of heavy LE presence in any specific regions of Idaho or Colorado--anything hinting towards where they're presently searching? Or are there members who live local to KB's home who can verify that they haven't seen LE in the area?

I don't recall anyone saying the grandmother was ill.

What I am still waiting for is CB's "explanation" of why she waited so long to report KB missing. She said "it was a long story and it would all come out soon".

Now that PF has been arrested, I would like to know this story.

If she talks to KB daily and couldn't get a hold of her the day after Thanksgiving to find out how her holiday went and also didn't reach KB the next couple of days after that - I would imagine she would've called PF to find out what was going on.

1. When did PF tell CB that KB had gone to visit Grandma in Soap Lake?
2. When did CB find out that this story was a lie? I'm sure she would've called Grandma right away when she couldn't reach KB.
3. Why did it take 10 days for CB to report KB as missing?

I'm thinking this must have something to do with the evidence LE has - as well as the evidence from KB townhouse. Otherwise we would've heard WHY it took 10 DAYS to report her missing by family members.
Interesting point about no follow up phone call from CB to KB right after TG.
Could it be possible that KB
was going out of town that weekend? Not necessarily to ID?
PF finds out and loses it...

Amen! I’d have to have a doctor give me tranquilizers if I was in their shoes.

When I had such a moment, I was taken into the ER by a friend and after explaining what had happened, we more or less begged the doctor to give me something for anxiety just to get me through the next few days. They refused by saying that I would need to be "clear headed" to talk to the police, state medical examiner, etc. Somehow I managed to make it through that week on adrenaline. In fact, after those initial 12 hours or so, I was kind of surprised at how CALM and rational I was. Actually being in that situation is much different than being on the outside and looking in. Your brain more or less flips a different switch in a way to protect you. I remember back when I used to say that if something happened to my child then I'd die, too. Reality is much different.

So, it says Clint Cline is the president of the Two Mile High Club. Let me tell you how that involves PF.
Cripple Creek is an old mining and gambling town. The Ashanti Gold Mine is there. There are a bunch of casinos. That's basically it. In the summer, they let all these donkeys roam around that town (im not sure why???) . They are really cute though. I am assuming that as a farrier, when there is a problem with one of the donkeys, they call PF to help.
jmo moo ..

I'm thinking it's possible that there are more lies that were told to CB by PF as stalling tactics. But even if PF didn't tell CB any other lies-- she had talked to KB twice on Thanksgiving and may have assumed she was busy the rest of the long weekend with her plans with PF. Also, perhaps KB's work schedule after the Thanksgiving weekend was going to be busy. CB knew KB's work schedule according to the uncle. I got the impression she only called when she knew KB would be at home relaxing. Living out of state, she might have figured KB was too tired to call if she was working long shifts that week. I'm sure KB's mom has her own life and things to do that fill her time as well. By the time the next weekend came and she had not heard from her she might have only started seriously worrying then. She might have left messages and thought KB would call her when she had time. After a week of not hearing anything, though, it was reasonable to be concerned and ask for a well check. MOO.

I have been reading this thread for a few weeks now. I have been captured by this case for a number of reasons, but a big one is that I have a child who is very close in age to baby K- within a few weeks in age. I have seen a lot of uncertainty/confusion on some of the baby related things and decided to join to give a bit of perspective on some of these things coming from someone with a child this age.

First, the car seat- those things are super heavy as some have mentioned, but if I was running into a store for a quick trip I would keep baby in it vs. unstrapping and restrapping baby in for such a short trip. I would NOT walk to the store carrying the car seat without a stroller. You are also not supposed to put kids in car seats with jackets on. Because of this I have used blankets to cover my kids in the car seat. All of this leads me to believe the trip to the store was a quick trip.

The second thing I have seen discussion about is how much baby K could tell people about. I’ve been around a lot of babies and my son is currently this age. I do not believe baby K would be able to tell anyone enough information for PF to be worried about her saying things about KB’s death. Most words at this age are not super clear and extremely basic. Think “ba” can be baby, ball, bottle, etc., but can also be used for other things. It’s also hard for babies this age to really communicate much from days before.

Yes @The Farm ... the donkeys stay in CC but the organization does an annual Aspen tour in September..... curious if PF's involvement with the TMH Club included being a tour guide... I can google it but can't cope/paste a link to the sites..

Talk about a flatlander... I live in South Florida/6 miles from the ocean...at sea level. OMG those heights up the CD freaked me out :-)
