Now that would be insane. I doubt it. These things usually wind up being a simple formula, with a twist. The simple formula is he is moving on (new love interest) or she is moving on (just done with the relationship or less likely new love interest). The twist is The knuckle head tried to get someone else to do it or help and thought it would stay quiet and he wouldn't get caught. If he solicited someone I would guess it is some shady friend with a background of drugs etc so that whatever he would come forward and say might be doubted. Just guessing.

IMO, the person he allegedly solicited is someone he trusted to the nth degree.
I mean I don’t have any friends or family I’m aware of interested in killing anyone. But, if one did ask for my help, I think I’d high tail it to the PD to mention it. I don’t thin PF approached a stranger. But I am probably wrong. Idk

If they have proof of solicitation, why wouldn't LE know the date of the solicitation? Whether it is electronic evidence or a witness statement, wouldn't the date be known and a critical part of that evidence? Why use a placeholder date of 9/1/18?

ETA: Another poster already noted 9/1/18 was a Saturday, but it was also part of Labor Day three-day weekend. Would that be a time for some bigger than usual rodeo event? End of summer finale?

I believe solicitation is more than just asking a person to do a deed. There has to be follow-up, i.e payment agreed, dates etc.

It cannot be charged based solely on the testimony of one person, there must be proof that it occurred.

First time poster here. I believe WS’s ToS allow me to share the link below which provides lots of good information on 18-2-301 (1) C.R.S, Colorado’s Felony Solicitation law. As an example:

“Verbally soliciting a crime is not enough. There must be additional evidence of circumstances that show you had the specific intent to promote or facilitate that crime. (For) example: One night Lenny and Mickey are having a beer, when Lenny says to Mickey, “What do you say we kill my wife? That woman needs to die.” Without anything further, Lenny is guilty of nothing more than blowing off steam. But... let's say that after Lenny's wife gets killed, the police discover a history of Google queries on Lenny's computer asking the going rate for a hired killer. The prosecutor also finds several of Lenny's friends who testify that Lenny was always discussing scenarios for getting rid of his wife. A jury could find these to be circumstances strongly corroborative of Lenny's intent to kill his wife.”

Re cattle I read the number somewhere but can’t recall the source; likewise, there was a photo. Obviously there’s no way PF could sustain 35 head on that rocky, dry, barren 35 acre outcrop. Also unclear if he’s running pairs or yearlings.
I think the ranchette is 35 acres. Maybe that's where the number comes from?

Well, if he made good money he must not be very good at keeping hold of it/saving. Or perhaps wasn't declaring it as income so he didn't pay taxes on it? He qualified for a public defender. I think PF is broke. Maybe the farrier gig is something he does on the side for a select few clients like the 2 Mile High Club and not his primary source of income? JMO.
I got the impression he didn't make much money. Didn't he have very few cattle and just a few horses? A very small "ranch?" I missed a large part of that discussion several threads ago but from what I read that's what I gathered. Jmo

I'm sure you know what you are talking about in regards to most farriers but it's hard for me to picture PF stopping by to visit someone like that since we have hardly heard him speak. And one of his friends from high school described PF as a "recluse". Others describe him as quiet. I have trouble seeing him as the type who would network that way to pick up some business. But it's possible, I suppose. Thanks for sharing what you know.

I know Gardener. The things friends say in all these cases confuse me. I don’t see anyone on a rodeo circuit being shy, reserved or reclusive.
My friends, if asked, would all describe me differently. The gang I trail ride with would think me loud, outgoing, etc., but the people from my church would describe me as “reserved”.
If he had only 25 head a month, he’d make $2500 cash. That would be six horses a week. An hour per horse. Jmo
Bet he gets closer to $125-150, per horse.
MOO

She’s the same one who started the firestorm of fake hype yesterday too
Good to know. Even if they had someone they were interogating, (see Posts by: Nancy Grace, Publisher KB dec 28 min 27 and on), they are not releasing info on this case until they absolutely have to so I doubt tomorrow will be too exciting.

I agree. But where are we getting that he had 35 head of cattle? His mom's property is about 35 acres and those acres are composed of 70% trees and rocky/sandy soil-- not suitable for grazing cattle and not large enough either. He might have rented some land for his cattle or used family property outside of Teller county though. IDK.

ETA: link to the property info: Teller County Property Records Database
Mom has 2 other properties, maybe there are cattle on those properties?

If looks could kill ! That statement has already been answered !
If he truly has a high temper like has been suggested in earlier threads he will blow behind bars and sooner than later.

That's my impression as well from what we have seen of the property he lives on with his mother. Others are speculating he could have leased land elsewhere and could have lots more cattle we are unware of. I think he was barely getting by and I wonder if money might have been a motive. JMO.

Imo when KB's mom talked about cattle prices being down as a reason they weren't getting married it makes me think he had a significant amount of cattle to be affected by that. I also maintain that he may have had a BLM lease. Many ranchers that run on BLM leases that don't have a sufficient area to keep them in the off season will ship them elsewhere until late spring. JMO

Livestock Grazing | BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT

Far from clear if Frazee’s 35 acres would qualify as “base property” for purposes of obtaining a BLM lease. I’ve found no reference to him leasing property. Grazing permits are generally conveyed with real property so hard to obtain requisite “base” unless BLM permit conveyed to SF upon purchase of her acreage. Secondly, extremely unusual for 35 ac to qualify as “base” pursuant to BLM/USFS regs.

That sounds about right but I don't remember how it was determined that he owned the cattle. Do you remember? Is it possible that his mom owns the cattle just as she owns the property?

Yes. He's not going to spill his guts like CW did.
With CO stance on the death penalty what would be the benefit to him to talk. I think he’ll talk when he hears their offer.
I tend to think if they put the right kind of pressure on him and get him into a big city stressful jail, he’d be more apt to talk. That jail where he is now must surely be upsetting him, but he’s not going to crack/talk in that little town jail. I still want to know how heavily they are interrogating him on her whereabouts.

Yesssss! I wonder if he earns R & B by taking care of the ranch. Didn't a neighbor woman say he works for her, too?

Not as I recall; that’s why I was shaking my head when I read PF had a “herd” of 35.

Unless he is delusional like SP and thinks he will walk away or has a chance to walk away. Maybe in his mind without a body the chance of him getting away with this is high, so why give it up? I hope for KB's family he gives it up, but I am not so sure it will happen.
