There seem to be many rumors floating around but they have not been confirmed or verified by LE.

Some rumors are true. Wish we had a way to incorporate them, lol. There’s a lot of new rumors since yesterday. Just have to dig. Imo

Breaking and entering with the intent to commit a felony is burglary, not robbery. Robbery is theft in the presence of or from the body of the victim, done with force or threat of it.

Thank you for clarifying!!

BREAKING: Patrick Frazee charged with five murder counts, including THREE solicitation for murder charges
The post also said that court documents show authorities believe Berreth was killed at her Woodland Park home in the course of an attempted robbery. It is not yet known if investigators believe there were additional people present at the crime scene.

Thanks! I missed the reference to “court documents” and was afraid reporters were jumping the gun just because robbery is used as a “for example” in the definition of felony murder. I sure would like to see the exact wording of those court documents that make the reference...

What if the hitman/hitmen tried to rape her during the staged robbery
and the murder scene became incredibly messy with lots of DNA of the perps because she fiercely fought back? What was meant to be a quick stabbing or strangulation w/ a stage robbery became a bloody mess.

What's the five murder counts?

Am wondering if KB was with child? Maybe she just found out, hadn't told anyone but PF, and PF was panicking?

I don’t think this was ever intended to be a staged robbery. This was always intended as murder. If there is a robbery component to this to warrant a felony murder charge, it’s because a robbery or attempted robbery did in fact occur. But it was never the plan, IMO. She was to end up dead but looking like she took off. It went exactly as he planned. Well except this whole part now of course.

So the person he solicitated must have told LE when this started which is Sept. 1, right?

Any ideas on why they specifically pick the dates of Sep 1 - Nov 1, 2018 on the solicitation charges? Especially the Nov 1 date - could it be that that’s when he had an accomplice lined up and no longer needed to “solicit” one?

Between and including September 1, 2018 and November 1, 2018 PF attempted to persuade another person to commit murder in the first degree.

Could be in the hospital. When I had my daughter, a photographer came in soon after and offered to schedule pictures for during our stay. I was not feeling like having my picture taken, but it was offered. We had our daughter’s pictures taken there, we just decided not to be in them.

Finally, someone brings up this photo. It does look done by a photographer; however, my concern was for KB. Moms are still patients at this point and recovering. It is odd but having been through three births this was not my condition. This is not a point about athleticism but about the trauma of birthing. Probably means nothing but it seemed off to her care to me.

I don't know. I'm hoping to listen to the news conference again. The reporters are confusing things. Now this:

Lance Benzel on Twitter
Other theory is #Frazee could be accused of trying to kill three people. You don't need a completed murder to have solicitation charge, observer Dubois said. Won't know which theory is correct till docs are released. #KelseyBerreth @csgazette

:confused::eek:
If he attempted to kill 3 people, wouldn’t they be separate cases? Unless it was Kelsey and two others at the same time? My first thought would be baby K and mama F, only because those are the only other players we know of yet.

I feel like a lot of charges are being thrown on the wall, hoping something sticks. They have credible evidence but where this all will end is still up in the air. It’s still being pieced together and key people need to start talking. IMO

PF is way more dangerous than I thought. Did they arrest him sooner than they wanted, but felt like others lives were at risk? Why do I feel like the little girl is lucky to be alive?

This is still an active investigation and a body not recovered yet. This case is in court and time is ticking.

The end, for poor KB, had to be terrifying & confusing. I hate to say this but I don’t believe her end was fast and swift...

CO doesn’t recognize that, do they?

Lol, sorry, I can check myself.

'The prosecution also revealed that the arrest warrant in the case must remain sealed, noting that publication of the details could 'seriously jeopardize the physical safety of potential witnesses in this investigation.''

My italics. Wow.

Kelsey Berreth may have been killed during robbery, Patrick Frazee facing five murder charges | Daily Mail Online

Who could bring harm to a potential witness? PF is locked up unless the witness is someone that knows who the other person or persons involved are. By saying all of this isn't that a possibility of bringing harm to them regardless?

Here’s my guess: one of the people solicited is talking and says this was planned as a robbery but went wrong and Kelsey died in the process hence the felony murder charge. The DA may not fully believe that story and believes it was a planned murder and the accomplice is just covering it up hence the first degree charge. Just MOO.

Good points.

KKTV News posted an article that says, in part:

Information from the court documents obtained by 11 News:

COUNT 1 - MURDER IN THE FIRST DEGREE
On or about November 22, 2018, PATRICK FRAZEE unlawfully, feleniously, after deliberation, and with the intent to cause the death of a person other than himself, caused the death of Kelsey Berreth.

COUNT 2 - SOLICITATION TO COMMIT MURDER IN THE FIRST DEGREE
Between and including September 1, 2018 and November 1, 2018, PATRICK FRAZEE unlawfully and feloniously commanded, induced, entered, or otherwise attempted to persuade another person to commit the felony of murder in the first degree, with intent to promote or facilitate the commission of that crime and under circumstances strongly corroborative of that intent.

COUNT 3-MURDER IN THE FIRST DEGREE
On or about November 22, 2018, PATRICK FRAZEE unlawfully and feloniously, acting alone or with one or more persons, committed or attempted to commit Robbery and, in the course of or in furtherance of that crime, or in the immediate flight therefrom, the death of Kelsey Berreth, a person, other than one of the participants, was cause by anyone.

COUNT 4-SOLICITATION TO COMMIT MURDER IN THE FIRST DEGREE
Between and including September 1, 2018 and November 1, 2018, PATRICK FRAZEE unlawfully and feloniously commanded, induced, entered, or otherwise attempted to persuade another person to commit the felony of murder in the first degree, with intent to promote or facilitate the commission of that crime and under circumstances strongly corroborative of that intent.

COUNT 5-SOLICITATION TO COMMIT MURDER IN THE FIRST DEGREE
Between and including September 1, 2018 and November 1, 2018 PATRICK FRAZEE unlawfully and feloniously commanded, induced, entreated, or otherwise attempted to persuade another person to commit the felony of murder in the first degree, with intent to promote or facilitate the commission of that crime and under circumstances strongly corroborative of that intent.

The charges listed on the court papers also say Frazee, possibly along with at least one other person, allegedly tried to rob Berreth and she was killed afterward.
Wow - so they must have specific evidence (phone records?) to tie down the planning dates to sept 1- Nov 1? and he was tenacious. 3 separate counts - wow. IMO

I don't think there's any truth to that. The reporter was speculating and has just furthered the confusion.

Was P’s brother in court? I did not see him. Tia

Obviously, PF has no feelings for his elderly mom. If so, he could not put her thru this. Or anyone in his family. For years to come, they, too, shall be “recognized” for this (alleged) horrific crime.

Not to minimize the B’s grief. To be clear.
