I am NOT a lawyer - this is what I see. (And, I think these may just be the prelim charges, honestly. They may change)

Count 1 and 3 are two different parts of the statute. A and B. This makes sense to me. Then, charge 2 is solicitation for the A part of the statute. Charges 4 & 5 make less sense to me. Unless there are 3 other people involved? And he gets a charge for each?

Can't wait for the real lawyers to chime in.

I worked for our state prison system for 6 years. My understanding was that “offenders” as they were referred to here, would be forced - by other offenders - to divulge their “papers” - or would face very severe discomfort. It is for that reason, that attorneys would work VERY HARD to ensure that certain crimes were pled down to different things. JMO

I’ve never heard this. Maybe it’s dif’ in CO. Never heard of an atty pleading a case down due to potential “discomfort” in prison. JMO.

I think this will be quick, and PF won’t say a word.

Not much tv time for him, which is a shame because I enjoy the “Steve from Blues Clues” outfit.

The pink handcuffs aren’t too shabby either.
I just want to hear what's in the probable cause affidavit. PLEASE.
Okay, and I hope the handcuffs are pink again. :p

I’ll be at work during the hearing. I’m going to need y’all to recap here so I can check in between patients!

I was under the impression that “discomfort” was the whole point of prison.

To an extent anyways.

It ain’t no rodeo!

My goodness.. Starting to think he asked a couple people, maybe even discussed via texts and someone turned him in when they saw she was gone... so that would make sense for all the charges- and murder, hiding body, isn’t dismembering an additional offense.. this is just getting worse by the minute.

So... He solicited to have KB murdered in Sept?

Sounds like that is their estimate. Wonder if he attended any rodeos around then. I know there was speculation he solicited someone from there.

Oh so True MG.
Honestly, I’ve just never heard of an atty telling his client he’s going to attempt to reduce charges because of potential “discomfort”. I know they fight vigorously to reduce or dismiss charges, tho.
Any prison docs’ I’ve read or watched, one of the first rules in orientation is to avoid discussing your charges. Don't ask, don’t tell. Makes sense to me. Jmo

Could be mistake, who knows.

How could he have been charged with first degree murder for a court date of Sept. 1st of 2018? That was also a Saturday. It must be an error. Maybe it should have had the date of January 9th of 2019?

Yeah, if it is true, perhaps I am just not understanding what it is saying.

We’ll need a lawyer to chime in, if the document is real.

ETA: Real
I notice that in this document PF is referred to as Defendant 1. Does a lawyer (@gitana1 ) ?) think that that implies that there's a defendant 2 that some of the charges apply to?

Do we know if the thumb prints are heat sensitive on phones?
Also, if he logged in right away, while the body was still warm, he could have added his thumbprint and or changed the manual password.

Sometimes all this speculation takes me back to grammar school and the telephone game. :-)

Maybe the solicitation could have been as early as then... (?)

Do we know what date KB's family visited? I know they were there in the fall because of the pictures of CB with KB and Baby K with the fall trees in the background. I wonder if PF wanted to murder KB before or after her fall family visit? Did KB's family meet PF's family? Maybe his ability to keep his two worlds separated and delay marriage to KB was coming crashing down around him each time her family visited? MOO.

The sol is solicitation.

“Sol” would mean solicitation (probably).

I truly don’t believe we should read much into this document.

We’re going to have a much better picture in about 12 hours.

LOL.... or the "I Spy" game.... as in, "I spy something suspicious..." ;)

I agree he may be comfortable with horses, but unless the horse has packed out kill meat and is use to the smell it might be a little skiddish packing a human that smells of death. You made some great points.

I’m going to avoid being graphic, but it’d be very difficult to
carry a corpse on horseback. It’s not as easy as it looks on Gunsmoke, IMO.
Not to mention, there is always the possibility of running into someone. No matter where we are.
