I thought I read that he picked the child up. Did he pick the child up from her house? Do we know where the child exchange took place?
Police Dept News Release says (according to PF) that he picked her up in the afternoon. It does not say where he picked her up.

Good point. She may have life insurance through her employer and LE needs to check who the beneficiary is.
There has to be a body for life insurance or you have to wait a number of years until the person is declared dead. It would not help with low cattle prices now.

im going to try again. Anyone have a link to an actual timeline of events, there is so much conflicting information here my head is spinning.

On top of that, in their timeline graph under the report, they have Kelsey's mother reporting her missing and the Woodland Park Police issuing a bulletin on December 3. When we know it is December 2.

Mother of missing Woodland Park woman hopes for her safe return
Wow. They may be correct on the bulletin though (if by "bulletin" they mean the news releases posted on the PD Facebook page. The first one there is dated December 3. Of course, we know Kelsey's mother reported her missing on the 2nd.

Posted today by the WPPD on their facebook page. It is a clarification of the timeline:
Woodland Park Police Department

Also, note their was a candlelight vigil but they did not want any media present. I find that odd. I would want to keep Kelsey in the news any way possible.

Wouldn't LE be able to see if two phones pinged in a crazy far away place at the same time? And checked for alibis on particular days of interest?

technically you just need to submit the death certificate to claim life insurance proceeds -now getting that would usually imply a body or the states required waiting period

Timeline Article: Kelsey Berreth Case: What to Know About the Missing Colorado Mom Last Seen on Thanksgiving Day

Thursday, Nov. 22
Surveillance footage from Safeway supermarket showed Kelsey shopping for groceries with her 1-year-old daughter about 12:30 p.m., police said.

“That’s the last time Kelsey was seen,” Woodlawn Park Police Chief Miles De Young would go on to tell reporters.

De Young also noted that Kelsey’s fiancé and the father of her daughter, Patrick Frazee, told investigators that he saw Kelsey that day when she handed off their child to him.

Sunday, Nov. 25
Kelsey’s employer, Doss Aviation, received texts from her cellphone saying she would not be at work for the next week, police said. Kelsey works as a pilot instructor.

Investigators were able to determine Kelsey’s cellphone pinged that day on a tower near Gooding, Idaho, about 600 miles from her home in Woodland Park.

Frazee told police he received a text from Kelsey’s phone that same day. Investigators have not revealed what that message said.

Sunday, Dec. 2
Kelsey’s mother, Cheryl, reported her daughter missing after being unable to reach her. Cheryl reached out to Frazee, who called her back and said he hadn’t heard from her since she had last texted.

Officers with the Woodlawn Park Police conducted a community caretakers search on Kelsey’s home, which was empty. Her cars, her clothes and her toothbrush all appeared untouched since Thanksgiving, authorities said.

Kelsey Berreth: Video Released Showing Missing Mom | Heavy.com

Clarification needed.

I see the above stated in several articles, not just this one.

It’s hard to have only an hour notice to go to a press conference , to show support for a missing person. Mhm. IMO.

A press conference isn't an emergency event and the assignment editor has to balance the schedule. More than an hour's notice is needed so there is a crew available and they have time to get there and set up. No way were they given just an hour in this case.

That said, PF may have been given just an hour to see if he would show up. He didn't. JMO

I find it disgusting that the dog refuses to be interviewed and the cinnamon buns have lawyered up.

I thought it was the other way around: The dog has a lawyer and the cinnamon buns are staying mum. But with the way the reporting has been on this case it's no wonder we are confused!:rolleyes::p

TIMELINE OF KELSEY BERRETH'S DISAPPEARANCE | Daily Mail Online
Mistake: LE says Patrick picked the toddler up not Kelsey dropped off her child.
As far as I know the exchange is not recorded on video nor is it witnessed so we only have his word that he picked her up - links on media thread
Many articles have said Patrick stated Kelsey dropped her toddler off.
Woodland Park Police FB page says Patrick dropped off the toddler.

Yes. More than one killer has made the mistake of traveling with his phone and the victim’s at the same time.

This can be avoided by having a third party bring that phone to a particular location though.

Ugh I thought I read where her brother specifically said that he went in and the ONLY thing missing was her purse.
My head is spinning. G'night all. Sweet dreams to you, Kelsey and all who love her.

Or leaving your phone at home.
