Or you know, the easy expiation... somebody took the phone to Idaho and sent the texts?

Yup. But I don’t think he left the state. He was too worried about keeping his hands clean IMO.

Finally caught up! Thank you to all our legal experts and long time members who have explained what happened in court today and what it might mean. I might have missed it but I'm surprised no one mentioned PF's snazzy PINK ankle chain:

View attachment 162226

As seen in the first minute of this court video: WAFB Channel 9

I pray Kelsey will be found very soon in 2019 and that PF will opt to keep his new pink jewelry and confess*. :D

(*I know he's not likely to plead guilty but I can hope, right?)

Happy New Year!

(ETA: @PommyMommy -you got your wish for pink again :p )

I seriously hear PF screaming “they are salmon!!!!”

I realize for felony and premeditated murder he could get the death penalty. Do you know the sentence for solicitation? When the case goes to the jury, can he be convicted of both felony murder and premeditated murder and all three counts of solicitation? Is that possible?

I’m not sure what the parameters are as far as solitication sentencing in Colorado.

There is only one murder so only one murder charge can withstand conviction.

The solicitation charges depend on if we’re talking three people or what...there’s obviously more to it than him asking one person once. We’ll have to wait and see what the idiot was doing there.

How I laughed when the camera zoomed in on his crocs and his pink cuffs and chain.

ETA: Happy New Year All!

How emasculating. No wonder he’s silent. Well, he shoulda thought abt what his new attire would be, before killing K. Surely he’s watched his local news before & was aware the jail didn't provide jeans, boots & Stetson hats.

Yup. I think it’s just covering the bases. Either it was premeditated or it wasn’t.

Exactly. If it wasn't premeditated, but was merely the theft of phone during a kidnapping where she accidentally died, then it is also first degree murder.

If there is proof that he had something to do with her phone being in Idaho, then he is at least guilty of theft. At the same time that the phone was stolen she died, perhaps accidentally, and therefore still guilty of first degree murder.

How in the world did he get her out of the house? That is BOLD.
And maybe his alibi didn't check out. Where he says he was that day, that night.

I can't sleep.

Re: removing her body, if she was killed at her home, I can see PF transporting her out via a large duffle, suitcase or, and I hate to say this, but being the utterly despicable creature he is, I can see him taking her out in reinforced, industrial-strength trash bags and throwing her in the back of his truck. Since he came and went frequently from the house, I don't think neighbors would have paid much attention at the time...

Re: sleep dep, it's New Year's Eve...you're allowed to stay up past your bedtime!

Is the 2nd murder charge (in relation to robbery) as simple as he/them breaking in/trespassing with intent to kill, with the first charge being the murder itself? This would make more sense to me given that her brother noted nothing as having been disturbed in her home and her body not left. Thanks for helping a newbie sleuth navigate this one. I grew up right outside of this town so I’ve been hooked.

He could have solicited someone, but the person never accepted the "job". If that's the case, that person could go to LE and tell them that Frazee attempted to solicit them for murder and not be charged with anything. So there would be no arrest for solicitation for the person solicited if they didn't accept the job.
I agree, and maybe whoever gave LE the infomation also had the large reward money in mind? I dont know if what they told LE was " eligable" to redeem it tho, let alone not have charges against them themselves, but it was just something that crossed my mind and I wanted to share.

The second murder charge has to do with death during the commission of a particular felony crime, robbery in this case.

In Colorado, if you commit a crime like arson, kidnapping, burglary, robbery, or sexual assault, and someone dies, you can be charged with “felony murder,” which is a first degree offense.

So if someone attempts to rob another person, and that person dies during the commission of that crime, they can be charged with first degree murder.

I do believe he walks faster than any shackled person I’ve ever seen.
He’s embarrassed & wishes to not be seen, imo.
Surely, reality has hit him by now & he realizes he has not a new purpose in life, simply No purpose.

Another insomniac? Welcome!
I postulated some time back that he could have used a suitcase. KB was a petite woman. Short version of my theory: He went there, baby K was having a nap, he did the unspeakable, put her in a suitcase (he brought) and wheels it out to the truck and covers it with a tarp. Then, promptly started cleaning up. Baby wakes up, he lets her play while he continues his cleaning job. Once done, loads up the garbage bags and then puts baby K in the truck and takes her home for mom to babysit while he goes out for a few beer with the guys, except, he's not having beer with the guys. The first charge is intent to murder, the second is intent to rob and accidental death. Both result in first degree murder charges.

.I wonder if PF he played chess at school, like CW?

Because he created a strange multi-pass combination with many loose ends.

If neighbors did see something and talk, would LE be keeping that info from the public or would we know that?

Just wanted to add, he's having beer with the guys that helped him at the dump.

I'm thinking nobody saw it. Holiday, people are away or enjoying their company for dinner. I have no idea of a timeline but perhaps LE have already pinned some of this down with cell logs.

I've never been so dumbfounded by a case. Usually, info starts rolling in...esp once there's an arrest. I'm having so much trouble with this one!

Most cases don’t have a 10 day lapse before someone is discovered missing.

That muddied the waters quite a bit.

The fact that they have yet to find her body doesn’t help, nor does the sealing of the arrest warrant.

This case is one big mangled mess.

For us anyway.
