I don't think he ever intended to make it look like a robbery at all. His plan was to make believe she went to Idaho and something terrible happened on the way. He's charged with robbery because he took the purse and the phone. LE knows he had the phone, because he gave it to this woman. That connects him to the crime. Imo

Except he hasn't been charged with robbery.

Yes. We'll see if the judge allows this or not.
Another thing I've heard all along and in this article is this:
"Frazee told investigators that he and Berreth met to exchange their 1-year-old daughter for a holiday visit."
That sounds to me that Frazee either thought or wanted others to thing they were broken up and he was just getting his daughter for a visitation.
I do think he went to retrieve his daughter prior to the robbery and murder. Unless, taking his daughter from Kelsey was done in a robbery way? idk. I hope not. I hope the little girl didn't witness anything.
Not sure what you mean by "taking his daughter from Kelsey was done in a robbery way," but if it means he "stole" his daughter I'm sure that's not the case!
I hope he did not have his daughter there when the crime occurred. Maybe he had someone outside watching her or sitting in a vehicle with her.
I think the robbery charges stem from the fact that the phone and purse were taken.
The prosecution may have added the charge in anticipation of his defense. If he claims he tried to rob her and her death was an accident, he is still charged with Murder in the first degree. Imo

The way I interpreted the felony murder charge (please correct me if I'm wrong) is that she had to have been killed DURING the commission of another felony (robbery in this case). So simply taking her purse and phone after the fact wouldn't constitute the charge.
I initially thought that the "robbery" was the purse and phone. But, like you, I don't think that taking those items after she is dead would constitute robbery. So, either there is something else that we don't know about, or the DA has charged something that they will probably have to revise.

I’m confused too- the docket says pre-trial conference set for 8:30 this morning and motions hearing tomorrow at 1:30 pm. Which one is for custody hearing?
This morning is the pre-trial on the custody. There will not be a permanent decision on custody today. They will probably discuss some scheduling, and decide on SF's motion to intervene. The court will want to narrow down all the legal and factual issues that will need to be decided at a final hearing.

I don’t see live streaming of the hearing. Does anyone know if it exists?

ETA — Sorry, just saw that it’s more of a conference, with no decisions.

We just heard back from the DA's office, which is now handling public information requests for the investigation. They refuse to comment/confirm/deny that report, citing the sealed documents & ongoing investigation. #KelseyBerreth #PatrickFrazee @KOAA

ETA: This is in reference to an earlier tweet about the Idaho nurse. The DA's office will not speak about it due to the sealed documents/facts of the case/ongoing investigation. Not surprised.

But if his defense is that he tried to rob her and she was killed by accident, couldn't that be a reason for the charge? I understand it may have to be revised but is it not possible that this is the reason behind that charge? Maybe whoever they have been talking to is claiming that's what happened? Is that possible?

So....what are some of PF's past jobs? To me, this sounds like they worked together perhaps as teens, first jobs in high school sort of thing.

Video: Idaho woman investigated in case of missing Colorado mom

A bit more information this morning. Sources say they have known each other for years and they worked together in Colorado.

Thanks so much for posting this, missy1974!!! Finally, ABC is starting to put out at least a little more background info re: the nurse. IMO, her safe, warm blanket of anonymity won't stay wrapped around her much longer...it's only a matter of time before ABC or some other MSM outlet puts her name on blast.

Any summary of video? I can't listen to it aloud at the moment.

Basically the same information that we know already about "Idaho", with the additional information that sources say they have known each other for years and worked together in Colorado.

ETA: they also mentioned that they have repeatedly tried to contact her and her lawyer with no response. This tells us that she does have a lawyer. IMO

I thought they must have known each other for awhile for him to trust her. Does it say where they worked? I thought maybe they met at a rodeo. Imo

The fight for the 14 month old baby girl missing mom #KelseyBerreth shares with #PatrickFrazee continues in a Teller County courtroom this morning. His family has filed a motion to intervene. Press and public kicked out of courtroom.

Yes, if he accidentally killed her in an attempted robbery, that would still be felony murder. But we don't have any reason to believe that is what the defense is claiming.

Could they have worked in some aspect at a rodeo or in that kind of environment? Did he just attend the rodeos or participate in them?
I also wondered if they went to school together. Known each other since kindergarten kind of thing. Imo

Yes, I know, but I thought maybe they may have been anticipating what his defense might be, especially if someone they questioned is telling a story like that. Imo
