I really listened to that video and the reporter asked <paraphrasing here> if there were concerns for her safety or trouble at that October visit and CB said no.

After considering MassGuy's and others posts I don't believe CB intentionally led or misrepresented PF and KB's relationship, but she really may have been advised not to mention anything disparaging to PF because of the baby.

Either way, I agree Kelsey still believed there was a relationship. PF was def the one doing the behind the scenes lying and deceiving to friends, neighbors and families. IMHO

Agreed. I definitely got the sense CB was trying not to say anything negative about PF. But that's not the same thing as lying about the status of the relationship as she observed it. She may have been holding back her negative thoughts a bit to make sure she could see her granddaughter in the future. And at that point PF hadn't been arrested and police were not naming him a suspect. It's smart from a legal standpoint to not disparage PF in any way. JMO.

The fact that there’s been no other arrests doesn’t bother me. If there is another person to be arrested, LE knows where the person is 24/7. Arrests can come at any moment.

You know what, I must have misremembered what the EMC request said.

I was under the impression that this was for all hearings, and not just the initial appearance.

ITA, PF doesn't deserve any special regard. The situation his actions (and or if anyone else's once confirmed) have ruined the lives of everyone around them most importantly baby K!

Surely the POI from police dept., or her counsel helped her with her public statement. She had to be scared crapless for the baby, IMO.

The EMC order said pretrial was limited to advisement/arraignments.

The current judge did say something at the 12/31 hearing about there being a new judge in January... Isn’t she covering both cases right now? (Criminal and custody?) Maybe she meant that there’d be a new judge on one of the two cases (?) Does anyone know?

Yea we don’t know much. For all we know, HE could be the one talking. We really haven’t heard that he is still refusing to talk, right? That’s just assumed from before he was arrested?

Here’s a thought....maybe the “affair” was between PF and KB. MSM is reporting that PF and the IN were long-term something-or-others (they just haven’t coalesced on what yet). Perhaps KB was the “affair” resulting in a child....the outsider who had to be gotten rid of? Motive?

But if that were the case, the "affair" between KB and PF happened over 2 years ago. Baby K-- the "evidence" of the affair was 15 months old. Why couldn't PF just break up with KB and continue on with his Idaho Nurse? He didn't get rid of the baby. Why was KB still a threat to his relationship with IN 2 years later? He should have told KB he didn't plan to marry her and continued on seeing IN if that's what he wanted. MOO.
