But if that were the case, the "affair" between KB and PF happened over 2 years ago. Baby K-- the "evidence" of the affair was 15 months old. Why couldn't PF just break up with KB and continue on with his Idaho Nurse? He didn't get rid of the baby. Why was KB still a threat to his relationship with IN 2 years later? He should have told KB he didn't plan to marry her and continued on seeing IN if that's what he wanted. MOO.

Yes; and now a 'friend' claims (DM) that KB and PF had broken up a YEAR before she went missing.
But the communication to KB's mom indicated they were together-- not living together but not completely separated, either.
And a neighbor saw PF's vehicle at KB's home often. Wonder when they observed him-- most recently-- at KB's house , before her vanishing ?

My .02 is that when KB became closer to PF and family , that she knew it wasn't going to work out.

And respectfully-- is this friend trying to smear KB even more ?

Right. We don’t know what’s going on behind closed doors.
I think it’s reasonable to assume he’s going to incriminate someone else. Most do. Lying to LE is nothing new.
IMO, if IN or any other person has/had the phone, they have very dirty hands.
Is he telling LE his IN was jealous, vindictive, evil & killed K? I think anything is possible.

I'm not sure it's misinformation we've been fed. I really believe that PF told a different story to everyone he knew. I think he told IN that the relationship was over. I think he told his family the relationship was on or off depending on how the winds were moving that day, I think he told Kelsey everything was fine, I think he told his friends whatever he needed to to make excuses for his behavior. What's happening now is that everyone he talked to is hearing what he said to others, in other words everyone else is talking to (or at) each other and the only one not talking anymore is Patrick.

Exactly what I was trying to say. PF's lies are all coming out now. The people relaying what he told them are not lying-- they got their info from PF. JMO.

Here’s a thought....maybe the “affair” was between PF and KB. MSM is reporting that PF and the IN were long-term something-or-others (they just haven’t coalesced on what yet). Perhaps KB was the “affair” resulting in a child....the outsider who had to be gotten rid of? Motive?

However, LE, PF Attorney, and CB have all referred to PF as the fiance. I don't think it's ever been suggested in MSN that KB uprooted and moved from WA to Colorado for an "affair." If anything, KB is a victim of a player. MOO

The current judge did say something at the 12/31 hearing about there being a new judge in January... Isn’t she covering both cases right now? (Criminal and custody?) Maybe she meant that there’d be a new judge on one of the two cases (?) Does anyone know?

Yes, she's presided over all the hearings thus far.

Maybe I am misunderstanding something... but a year prior to her going missing, baby would have already been born if she is 14 months old, no?

I keep seeing references to friends/family smearing KB. I have been reading about the case since the beginning, but admit, I couldn't read everything in December (work and xmas got in the way). If they tried smearing KB, I am not sure the general public knows this, I still can't find it and I have looked on the various other sites after reading there were screenshots.

I’m still wondering if the nurse was the mastermind of this, mainly for this reason. I have a feeling he was with the nurse before KB.

I posted way back in an earlier thread that, IME, it's not uncommon for narcissistic players to hang on to other women
from his past, even if involved currently. Then when he gets the
itch or has an argument w/ current one, he swings back
into his past and has a fling with an old one. These men always

I questioned/answered that myself in a thread yesterday. After listening to the Monday hearing (it’s about 9 or 10 minutes in), Judge LBV mentions Judge S (name is on record,....I thought she said Judge Sols?. ....But I saw there is a Judge Sells so I’m not 100% sure) assumes the position in January.

I've been lurking heavily on Kelsey's threads since day one, I don't think I've commented once though.

Do we have any info about whether today's hearing will be live streamed? (NM - answered above, thanks gliving!)

I can't shake the feeling that there is something else going here besides custody issues, scorned lovers, or baby daddy's that are over the mamas. As in, we are going to learn that PF was involved in something really shady. It doesn't seem typical that swat teams would be at an arrest (though PF may have a 'you'll come on my property at your own risk' attitude that could explain that), and I am baffled that his team hasn't had access to his arrest documents.

I want those docs!
Otherwise, I am probably going to end up looking into the seedy underbelly of rodeo circuits or the like. And I don't think I want to go there.
