Prosecutors in Kelsey Berreth murder case say evidence set for testing is no longer critical to the investigation
Prosecutors in the murder case against Patrick Frazee have agreed to unseal the arrest affidavit and share it with the defendant and his lawyers, but it will not be released to the public.

In the courtroom, which was closed to cameras, prosecutors reportedly said that a small amount of evidence previously believed to be significant was no longer considered critical to the investigation. It is not known what type of evidence was being considered for consumptive testing, which reportedly would have destroyed the evidence given its small size.

According to the KOAA reporter, a judge will rule on testing the evidence at an upcoming pre-trial hearing, originally scheduled for January 29, but Frazee’s defense has reportedly asked to delay the hearing until mid-February.

Seriously! I wonder if he’s going to also wear some nerdy, bookish glasses that most defendants seem to transition to during trial... :D

He's already been working on the lost little boy look. And what's scary is it seems to be working. It prompted scads of speculation about his neurological status!

I wonder if they will crank his chair down low and their's up high to make him look even more "wittle" and confused.

Spot on. I believe he's very much aware, at all times, of how he presents himself.

that was the response by the State prosecutor when asked can she verify any info regarding a witness/woman in Idaho

Then that would be the prosecutor saying that she cannot speak, rather than the IN.

Does this mean that LE decided the evidence in question wasn’t really worth much, or does it indicate they have other, better evidence?

I suspect he's used that lost little boy look on many occasions with his family.

Really. Or did they determine the evidence is not what is originally appeared to be.

Idaho and Colorado are both big horse/cattle/dog States. Lots of rodeo going on, lots of cattle being bred, lots of cattle dogs being trained. Lots of people going from one State to the other for this reason.

Some areas are a tad remote, not always easy to meet singles in one's own area. So, you have sites like "Farmers Only", but I don't know if that's the site he's used.

And, remoteness, when juggling more than one woman, is often an advantage. Sad.
Lots of hunting too?

My understanding is that the testing of the consumptive evidence is no longer considered critical, so the motion could wait until the pre-trial hearing.
MOO

There could be more arrests within the next month.

No. You're definitely not the only one. Come on! It's ridiculous. PF looked far from confused or stupid when dealing with reporters prior to his arrest. He looked and sounded decisive, determined, and in control of his simmering rage.

Yeah. The prosecutor's response made me feel that's coming.
