Judge: Frazee warrant to remain sealed for now
The judge in the case ruled that Frazee and his attorneys could have access to the arrest warrant – something prosecutors did not object to. But the judge also ruled that it should remain sealed to the public.

Prosecutors and defense attorneys also discussed the motion for consumptive testing in the case for evidence that could be destroyed once it is tested. Both sides agreed that there was no need to rush the tests, as prosecutors said the piece of evidence was not as critical as they originally thought. The judge did not rule on the motion on Friday and the discussion is expected to continue up until Frazee’s preliminary hearing, which was set Friday for Feb. 19 at 9 a.m.

“This is an ongoing process as we look at multiple items that will be tested,” Viehman said.

“So as we go through items and communication with law enforcement and the lab, many times the urgent nature of things may change because we may realize that piece of evidence or item either doesn’t have the significance that we once thought it did, or maybe the lab is telling us that it’s not going to be an issue, [that] they’re going to be able to complete things in a more timely manner,” she added.

My theory - prosecutors have new "evidence" that is stronger than the orig. piece.

Tysm! As an avid bookworm, Court TV addict following true crime for too many years, my statistics reveal MOST murder cases do not go to trial. Especially DP/LWOP.
I’m not necessarily referring to crimes reaching national media level.
If every murder proceeded to trial, the back log would be Genormous, imo.
Providing CO has supporting evidence to buck P off his horse, it’ll be most interesting to see if he opts for trial. Of course we have no idea.

Just on the off chance my post wasn’t clear, the reason I suggested a recap of what we know about IN was to AVOID getting the thread shut down by people accidentally posting something that wasn’t officially “known” yet. Here is my updated hypothetical scenario. I could see the following as a possibility:


Let's say PF has a girlfriend from out of state, and she comes to visit for Thanksgiving.

And maybe KB hears that said GF is in town, and a little miffed about it.

PF calls KB to ask about picking up the baby so she can come to his family T-Day dinner.

KB says NO, she has day off and wants to spend quality time with the baby herself.

So PF and his out of state GF go to KB's, planning to force the issue, and get the baby anyway. The gf has no idea what PF is really planning to do.

They arrive, and there is a confrontation. Maybe PF goes in alone, comes out with the baby, then goes back in briefly. The gf may not know for awhile what happened during the confrontation. But when she starts asking questions she is horrified and he begins threatening her---reminding her she was there in the truck, and would be part of the crime.

So she agrees, although unwillingly and feels coerced, to take the phone and to send texts, etc.

I think we have to fret more because she has a name and isn't a POI or under arrest so the area we can talk about is narrow. And I don't think she can be sleuthed still. But I don't know for sure.

I am trying hard not to violate TOS, but at the same time am keeping close tabs on everything - rumors, rumors that have some basis in fact, media rumors, proven media, etc.

I live in Idaho.

She is a POI.
