Isn’t it funny, or sad, that we all realize that this is what happened based on them saying that she is no longer alive. But it’s still a wee jolt when you read it in black-and-white

Can someone explain exactly what goes on in a rodeo? I asked before if it's possible that he worked in one but I have no idea what capacity that would be. All I know about them is what I saw in Brokeback Mountain.

Rodeos are competitions that are organized into events like bullriding, barrel racing, calf-roping, bucking broncos and bulls. They are competing for prize money. There are clowns who distract a bull from hurting a rider who has fallen off.
Patrick was a competitor in the rodeo. His Twitter avatar was a photo of him
on horse chasing a calf, so it seems likely that calf-roping was his event.
He also could have been picking up money by plying his trade as a farrier
(trimming hooves, shoeing, etc) and trying to sell his cattle dogs.

That’s the question.

It’s possible that law enforcement explained to Kelsey’s family, the reason that they believe she is dead.

“We found a lot of blood,” or something.

Or it’s possible that they are merely inferring what we are here.

So there’s really no way of knowing for sure how exactly Kelsey’s family reached this conclusion.

Have they been told this? Or is it an educated guess?

Yes. Both Patrick and hs lawyer can see the arrest warrant but it is not
to be released to the public (yet).

It makes me think she was beaten, resulting in death & either P or his accomplice have told LE. Perhaps she fell during a confrontation or was punched, injured, later died. Just my opinion.
