There wouldn’t be clear forensic evidence left from that, certainly nothing that would have proven that she was killed in that house.

Strangulation doesn’t leave behind a great deal of forensic evidence, and forensic evidence is the most likely reason that they were able to say that Kelsey is dead, and she was killed in her home.

So two things are possible.

She wasn’t strangled.

Her body was dismembered.

I’m leaning towards the former, and think her death was bloody.

I think it possible KB was strangled and wasn't removed from her house immediately. Body fluids would attract the attention of cadaver dogs. JMO

Yeah, it was on the KRDO livestream earlier today. Unfortunately they haven’t posted the segment to their website so far.
If that segment included talking about the wrong KK they will be lucky if they don't get sued.

If family or friends were calling or texting...and she was not replying...I can’t imagine why she was not reported missing until 12/2. That still astonishes me. No matter what PF may or may not have told them, what could it have been that no one felt it extremely amiss to not be able to get a reply from Kelsey for up to 11 days?

I live alone and keep to myself...and still, at least four people would call for a welfare check after two days of no response, at most. And Kelsey has a baby. I just don’t understand.
Maybe she was not as close to her family/mother as we think (for whatever reasons) and it was normal to go a week or so without communication. moo

Must be. Or, she wasn’t punctual about replying so if they had called/texted & never heard back, it wasn’t alarming.

I have to say this really is a mystery for me too, and I live alone as well. 11 days to report her missing seems like a really long time.

Sure. But that wouldn’t be good enough. A dog simply hitting on an area, is not conclusive proof of death.

I don’t care how many dogs do it. You still need forensic evidence to back it up.

Philly Philly

@heartgoesout ... Fly Eagles fly :-)

As for the IN being in CO during the time frame LE feels the loss of KB occurred, I have a lot of red flags going off about that. I know it has been said by some who know her, that she was in CO at Thanksgiving time. The exact dates she was there have not been confirmed yet, nor EXACTLY why she was there (that I know of). What really concerns me is her close proximity to KB's home at a Sonic on 11/24/18 ..... in addition to reports about the phone. I have a gut feeling there is more involvement on her part to come (willingly on her behalf or not).

Absolutely. This case isn’t based solely on the words of anyone.

Other evidence will help to back up any witness statements, and serve as crucial building blocks in the case against PF.

He’s going to have a lot of evidence to overcome.

Certainly not on the words of PF.

I think after she was murdered (what ard 1pm, maybe) PF left Dodge with the baby, going to the ranch or maybe a siblings. Then, later returned. I don’t think she was carried out in broad daylight. I can barely type this but I don’t think she was dismembered, either. I think it was a neat crime. One can google info, or heck, ask a friend with medical knowledge for advice on killing someone quickly, without a mess.
Estimating time of death based on her SafeWay trip.
Speculation

I wonder if anyone thought to check with DOSS to see if she had been showing up to work, (if they were trying to get a hold of her by text or phone). She did work and drive to work long hours each day, but I thought I remembered she talked to her mom frequently and her mom knew when it would be a good time to call.

It was and they showed a house that she supposedly lived in, in Canon City too.
ETA a small blue stucco house. I didn't notice them rebroadcasting it any other times today though.

We don't really know that, do we?

I recall CB said she called her for a recipe. And it doesnt sound like it was for cinnamon rolls.

I'll bet KB mentioned some T-Day and holiday plans to her mother. As PF was picking up the baby, was there something else KB was going to do?

From her info I see that she is very physically active: biking, hiking, running, kayaking. If she did not have Baby K that weekend by "pre-arrangement" with PF, was there something else she was going to do that would put her out of contact with her family for the 4 -day holiday?

But do we know if he really was supposed to have the baby that weekend? He's the one who said he last saw KB when he went to pick up Baby K, but it could be KB had never agreed to handing her over that day or for the holiday weekend.

KB told her mom she had plans to go out to dinner with PF and Baby. See post from thread 5 by Scdiv:

The admin and CB comments from Missing Mother - Kelsey Berreth facebook page - On December 6 post at 10:25 a.m. - were:

"I spoke with her a couple of times that morning. Going out for dinner was in the plan. We know she had picked up a few things at Safeway.

and

"She was going out to dinner with her fiance and daughter. She didn't say where."

In CB's media interview, I believe she simply said, "Going out to dinner was a possibility."

Certainly not on the words of PF.

Lol, no!
But, imo, it seems someone with intimate knowledge is talking.
Based on LE stating she was killed in her home & the charges against PF.
Well, someone talked, we know he solicited 3X.

Oh, that makes it worse.

She had to be in town to visit PF and if she was still in town 2 days after KB was reportedly murdered, I wonder what the conversation between KK and PF would be at this point. Sarcasm intended.

Plus I can't see her not being aware of what had happened on the 24th. But to nonchalantly go to Sonic and order what? a burger? fries? after a woman had been murdered just floors me.

Thank you for this info. Catches me up a bit. Still, that doesn't mean she was handing Baby K over after dinner or for the holiday weekend.

She had a long, hard drive ahead of her. Maybe her CO trip wasn’t really relaxing & she needed some food for thought.

I think he realized LE would be coming to investigate him and his mother's property soon enough. Better get the stuff he removed in the cleanup of KB's place out of the Frazee property and into the supposed anonymity of the dump.

Except the Frazee property had been searched before the dump run.

Ahh. Dark thoughts indeed. IMO anyway

Absolutely..... I smell a rat here with her. But at the same time, I wonder if once the cell phone "ping" from Gooding, ID was reported by LE and became media attention, it caused her to panic and she was one of the first to go to LE and begin to spill the beans.

ETA: and that LE is giving her "space" and not arresting her (if they have cause to), hoping she will tell more.

Yes. I should have clarified, I think she was beaten to death with a blunt object.

This would explain that final search, and the fact that a ladder was brought in.

I think they found blood high on the walls/ceiling.

I wondered if something was shoved into the chimney flue.

Every time I think about the chimney I remember the video clip of LE looking in the door and up to the left, which is the opposite direction from the chinmey, but is where the pony wall and loft would be, IMO.

Remembering how tall PF is, I wondered about some place like an attic access or similar, that maybe he could reach when most folks couldn't. If he opened the ceiling hatch (don't know if there actually is one or not) and tossed, say, a blunt object with blood or DNA on it far inside, LE might have needed the ladder to climb up in there to search for/retrieve it. I know this scenario is unlikely, but it's one idea.
