As far as life insurance, I’ve never heard of a child not having a guardian to manage those proceeds. Maybe it’s dif in CO. Hypothetically, assume a man receives 1,800 monthly SS for death benefits. I don’t see how there’d be enough left over after meeting the needs of a baby, to make murder an option. Jmo. I think food, clothes, day care, medical, college funds, school activities, etc., would leave very little.
Day care? K wasn't in daycare. I've seen no indication she had medical expenses on a monthly basis but I do know she wasn't in school. The guardian of the child usually is the surviving parent. And $1,800/mo. tax-free is hardly chump change. I'll agree to disagree and move on.
