The ladder might be irrelevant, but it apparently sounded like they were tearing the place apart.

Agree, they did bang and remove stuff, but we don’t know for sure if the ladder inspection found anything.

I came across a close up picture of PF with his pink handcuffs on SM site that I can't link to. It was a screen shot of a tweet. Anyway I googled pink handcuffs on prisoners & found this. Thought it was interesting & wondered if there is the same significance at the WPPD.

Yea ole' Sheriff Arpaio In Arizona has been using them and pink garments too. I think he does it to humiliate the inmates, glad to see the one you linked to does it with a worthwhile symbol. IMO

Yes. I should have clarified, I think she was beaten to death with a blunt object.

This would explain that final search, and the fact that a ladder was brought in.

I think they found blood high on the walls/ceiling.

I think spatter was up high as well. But can you get the trajectory, say with long hair that's wet? Or a wet fist repeatedly striking a bloody body? I really don't know.

I am thinking about people out and about, walking, etc.
I do think people don’t “notice” much, these days.

you can click back and watch the 10:00pm news. They talk about KK. Sonic confirms they have CC receipts/footage that place KK in woodland park on Nov 22nd. They also talk about her nursing license and how she got in some nursing trouble in the state of Colorado.

Highly doubtful. No problem with a blunt object though, you’d have cast-off blood splatter going everywhere.

Even if dogs alerted to it, it still wouldn’t be enough to determine that she was definitely dead, and killed in that house.

I agree though, I’ve long thought she was beaten to death.

The only thing that makes me question being beaten to death is the fact that there was the possibility of her screaming or loud noises as furniture was turned over or her body hit against walls.

Of course, he could have hit her from behind with an object the immediately knocked her out, and then beaten her to death while she was unconscious. I certainly think he would have gotten joy out of inflicting as much pain as possible and would have prefered this over strangulation.

Correct. I forgot she was charged as an accessory to it.

But I think that Keepers helped with the body disposal AND she seemed to know about his plan and actually encouraged his decision to rid himself of his underage girlfriend.

I am not sure that Nurse K did any of that. But we don't know for sure yet.

Investigators with [/URL]@CBI_Colorado and @FBIDenver have just left the home of #KelseyBerreth in #WoodlandPark. They brought out some large pieces of evidence. The fire department even brought a ladder inside the home for a few minutes. Investigators have also sealed the front door.[/URL]

Well, just going by what her co-workers said about her being there for Thanksgiving, but no mention at all that IN herself was visiting family or other friends. I haven't seen anywhere that she is originally from CO or has family there that she visits, just that her and PF worked together in CO at one time.

So, my thoughts are that she came down to CO to spend time with PF for the holiday. I could be wrong, and maybe she does have family around PF that she was visiting- you would think that that would have been explained by the media- why she was there at that time.

Tons of people come to CO for Thanksgiving holiday to ski or participate in other winter sports — often families w/members in multiple states meet here. Even if KK didn’t have family that lived here she may have been meeting them in CO, or friends. Then swung by to visit her local “friend” on the way home. If that’s the case her involvement may indeed be limited to phone disposal.

If she was planning to come visit PF for the whole holiday it changes things. It ups the odds PF planned for KB to be eliminated before Thanksgiving. If KK wasn’t a pre-planned accomplice seems like it would have been better for him to get rid of KB before she arrived. I think KK’s Thanksgiving plans/schedule could tell us a lot about the crime in general and her degree of involvement. Surely LE has that information by now.

Why wouldn’t KB be home? At that point, no one (other than the killer(s)) knew she wasn’t “there”.

If he/she/they were stringing out their plan to make people think she took off after the ‘break up’, then perhaps they wouldn’t want neighbours remembering lights on in the house.
