I have a theory on the robbery thing-- I think it was always PF's plan to get rid of KB's body after murdering her. However, he needed help to make it look like she had run off to Washington to visit family. Perhaps he lied to whomever he gave the phone to (possibly KK?) and said that he and KB fought when he went to pick up their daughter and as a result she died "by accident" and he ended up with KB's phone/some other belongings of hers. Perhaps that is the story he made up in order to convince someone to help him. Perhaps the person who helped dispose of the phone is now talking to police and telling the story PF told about taking something from KB as she died. Technically, if they fought and he grabbed the phone (or anything else) from her hands as he killed her that could be felony murder during a robbery. I could be wrong but I think the charge doesn't necessarily mean that PF planned to make the murder look like a robbery. It could simply mean some evidence or a witness is saying PF was trying to take something from KB when she was murdered and that he then removed whatever it was from the scene. MOO.
That honestly makes the most sense out of any explanation I’ve heard or been able to think of. Even if they know it is a lie, because they have a witness for this theory it might get a conviction over just the murder 1.

I can’t really connect heading south toward NM with ID in any way...

It kind of makes sense to me.

One person takes the cell phone, as a decoy, and purposely takes the attention to Idaho, by pinging it as texts are sent.

A different person takes the body in another direction, to dispose of it.

It doesn't connect at all really. In wild theory one could say her body was disposed of in the opposite direction with the thinking "who would ever look there". With all the vastness of the mountains closer to PF I just really don't think this is KBs body. Unless..... if PF was successful in getting someone else to kill her & this is where "they" chose to dump the body? I just really doubt it is her.

With KK on a manadatory leave of absence from her Hospital employment, I’ll be curious to see if her job is waiting for her after LE finishes investigating her...assuming she is cooperative and (hypothetically) gets “cleared” by LE. Does anyone know the law in regard to how long/IF the company is legally required to hold her job (vs firing her) in this scenario. I’d like to infer and hope that she is still a strong POI if she remains on leave of absence from her job. Hmmm.

I can see some of these possibilities. I think the DA was getting creative in trying to cover their bases with the charging options.

I think she’s got much bigger problems than keeping her job.

I just can’t find an innocent explanation for disposing of the phone, and I think it’s probable that her involvement is greater than that.

She’ll be lucky to avoid jail time.

in a large plastic tub? this sounds like a plausible MO for PF (and accomplice).

She will be even worse off if she’s lying to police at all. Tic toc for her freedom.

Civil lawsuit against Frazee likely intended for answers, closure

David McDivitt, vice president of McDivitt Law Firm, said the suit likely isn’t solely focused on money, noting Frazee’s current representation by a public defender. It’s a way to get closure for the family.

“What they were trying to do, I’m sure, is get answers, hold someone accountable, try to find some sense of healing, and that is going to be a long journey,” McDivitt said. “And this is just one kind of path along that journey.”

I think that’s too sloppy for him (plastic tub). He planned this so she wouldn’t be found, IMO.

I agree. I thought the same thing about Chris Watts but then he just folded. I do think PF is different, and I don’t see him confessing. But let’s see what happens!
IMO He’ll eventually confess even though someone initially coached him to remain silent. When all the evidence is fully presented, and when he fully realizes what his defense odds are with a public defender (just speaking on stats, no offense to any public defenders here). I imagine his family and new representation will encourage him to confess in the end to take a plea. He’ ll Wear down. I hope. Just Moo.

Unless he had other's do it in the opposite direction on purpose. moo

If the death penalty is on the table, maybe.

If he’s facing life without parole, and a plea is for life without parole (as it should be), then he has no incentive.

My guess is that this goes the distance.

I agree. Fits more the other Kelsie to me, but time will tell.

I tend to agree with you. I don't think he will be as worried as CW was about things coming out at trial.

He does have the location of Kelsey’s body as a bargaining chip. But that would require the DA to play ball.

If the state builds a case, what kind of deal can they offer...death row vs. life without parole? He would still die in prison, imo. He won’t confess. Jmo

With what little we know now, I think he will take a plea deal, if he can get an end date deal. Moo
If, he’s guilty.....I try to presume one innocent until all facts are available, if I should ever find myself in a similar position would wish for the same. Jmo
